Message to Zack when pulling the trans in and out- If you take a square shaped seat style creeper with the open faced tool area. Set it in the passenger floor and lay your chest across it, when pulling the trans out just lift the trans out and set it in the tool area of the creeper then stand up to pull the creeper and trans out all in one. It acts as a back saver/roll around cart for the trans not to mention a seat. I did have to stretch the upright square tubes on mine three inches making it taller so that the trans would sit in the tool pan but with that two speed you may not have to. Pass it on and save yourself some back pain!

I'd check with the guys at CJRC but knowing the material they built that cage from, I'd say you could hook a ratchet strap/small chain block over it and lift the trans up and swing it over without destroying backs. Not sure if it's worth the extra effort but anything is gonna be better than Zack doing back extensions with a turbo 400 😂

I"m a little confused...........I thought I saw a TH400 Reid case in the car (Cleetus even says TH400), but Cleetus says 2 speed. What gives? Are pro mod cars doing better with powerslides? I'm used to seeing the Reid Th400 builds laying around that my uncle does for drag or some of the top baja 1000 trucks.

A nice darker red with a pile of flake in it. Somewhere between a Viper red and maroonish.

I have always been a huge fan of the Candied Black Cherry paint. Especially when it looks almost black except where the curves and sun hit it to turn it a deep red.

That is the most tastefully done SC I’ve ever seen. In terms of “oem+”. I’ve been wanting a 400 like this with a 1uz to tinker on. These cars are really under appreciated, it’s a luxury Supra

Real awesome to see Sam showing the 99 SC with a NA-T turbo setup. Almost finished on my own 95 baltic blue SC300 with a VVTI GTE 5-speed swap and this gives me some motivation to keep inching toward the finish line. It also makes me wonder if Mr Sam is apart of the forums now that we're learning about his love for supras and toyota line 6s. Beautiful car and a great shine job Sam!
I love how sam likes to go fast on his pulls. No baby pulls. That boy goes from here, there to gone in the matter of seconds and I love every minute of it.

Have you thought about using a tri color paint scheme with rubys red the black from leroy and the grey from mullet kind of a tribute to the three cars that made it possible? Would be kinda cool idk how the colors could be utilized. Just a idea maybe grey and black two tone with red pinstripes?

cobalt blue in the front fade to ruby red metallic in the back with subtle star shadows on the blue and shadow stripes on the red. (the blue in the front and the red in the back also mimicking the effect of how light travels relative to our perception)
I like this idea. Not so complex as to be unrealistic but definitely a great idea. I dig it.

Cleetus telling the seat guy about his tub of bondo curing experience had me dying 😂
I missed their bondo experience, but recently used some really old bondo............it went off faster than that foam, like 1 minute after mixing with only a tiny dab of fresh hardener. It was also very thick bondo from sitting in a cabinet in the heat for years. With repairing damaged wood as a pro painter with bondo to doing a little touch up before having my truck painted and doing the engine bay myself, I can relate to the tub of bondo going off. I know not to do what he claimed with mixing a gallon or any large amount, but just about anyone who has used bondo has either had it go off too fast, or worse yet, had it not go off. Premature is better than never.........that gooey stuff sucks to deal with when it doesn't get hard. The fear leads to experiences like what Cleetus and squirrel had.

You should paint the pro mod "Bright Sapphire Metallic - JA". This was a Ford paint code from the 1990's that was a dark blue/purple color. Beautiful in the sunlight.
A nice Candy Apple Red with 2 white strips would look AMAZING!
They have reds now , that are very close to candy without having to do 3 stage paint.

That's beast, but I hold one of the record for being around the biggest turbos ever built. 120,000 hp natural gas generators at the stec powerplant in Pearsall Tx. The turbos are 6' in diameter. And for those who can't read a tape measure that's 6 feet in diameter not 6 Inches!!! But the again the cooling stacks are 60' off the ground with a LOT of electric fans on top of them to cool them!!! They are massive engines. From Switzerland. There were a LOT of Sweedes on the site as well. Super cool guys. I was on the electrical crew who wired the plant. Case Industrial. Hell, they did most of the plant since they employ almost the entire industrial fields.....
This is project eagle so I'm thinking along the lines of a brown metallic paint job with pearl white lettering for McFarland Racing and make the wheels a brushed bronze.

I am so jealous, the Eagle is going to look so good, can't wait to see it completed and painted. Not for nothing I'd like to put my 2 cents in on the paint. Body white with REd White and Bllue stripea part way down the sides to the door panels. both side with the stars on the hood. Behind the door a nice closs white with the FF logo on the trunk. Just saying . Always love your content Cleetus, and yes Mullet needs a seat like that. Take care and God Bless.

1. i absolutely love the relationship between you guys and Sam. It really seems like yall are one big family. Huge congratulations on building that over the years.
2. I think it would be cool to have eagle and mullet match with the paint. maybe even adjust the gray to a dark metallic instead of the flat gray. Mullet it really due for a exterior refresh too since your switching back to the BBC.
Paint wise, I think you should do a spin off of Consuelo. The light blue with some red accents. Imagine the picture of those two side by side on the tarmac, Damn!!! That picture would go viral for sure Cleet

As much as I agree with George about the red, you have been so accepting of not going crazy wild in the fabrication and making speed the top priority I would say go wild in the paint/wrap. The color or scheme of a car is the only thing that doesn’t matter in a time slip so whatever you want, do it. Wild, crazy, shocking or tame clean and subtle.
Eagle would look nice with a nice metallic cherry red color with those black and silver billet wheels
