i just found this song a while ago and it resonates with me as a trans guy, not just bc i have the same name lol, but it really reminds me of the beginning process of transitioning. and even if thats not what the songs about, the lyrics still have that impact on me
Ellen Kempner actually wrote this about her boyfriend who is a trans guy! I'm a trans woman and I literally started sobbing the first time I heard this song lol
