The reason that the British tier 8 tanks have lower alpha is because the 20 Pounder Type A and B has a caliber of only 84mm, which means a M26 Pershing has better alpha because it has 90mm, but has less dpm
T-34-85 has a bigger caliber than the action X and cent 1 by about a millimeter

Next update (9.6) will see the STB-1, Leo 1, and Caer AX get PBR graphics

I got the Action X for free from the blitzcup event.And yes,I can confirm that it is a strong tonk. But the low alpha is kinda infuriating.
I just won it from snow globe. I like centurion 5/1 so I think similar. I was hoping for a better tank but I’m happy

Bro the action x has not been power crept it’s better then the carnavan in every way it can penn a tiger frontally and has good turret turn rate not even to acknowledge the gun depression

@@aditanovela6017 I haven’t kept up with the carnavon these past updates but it’s seems like shit the turret can be penned by the action x it dose not have turret armor on the sides and it’s quite slow tbh but the improved alpha is better compared to action x and while improved armor may be better it can’t do anything without speed and a big lower glacias plate I also assume it does not have HDR graphic correct?

AX is one of my favorite tanks still. Super powerful and great overall. Nothing to complain about it

There's only a tank that has a similar playstyle, the Chieftain/T95, and both are good. And the Cheiftain sufferIt has not been powercrept in anyway, the other hulldown pew pew laser gun is the T26E5 and that one has no hull armor at all.

the problem i have is that the armor just doesn't work tanks like the Tiger 2 and Löwe have literally NOTHING red at all when loading premiums, looks like you are aiming at a light tank

Hey Droodles (and anyone else really) right now I have the Shark, 252U, WZ-122-2, IS-6 and Progetto 46 as my tier 8 premiums. I have 7k gold right now and was thinking to wait for this tanks. Should I save for the Action X or a different tank like the Chimera/Cent. 5/1/Chrysler K?
action x if you could use it aggresively, the turret is butter to any tier 8 prem ammo. cent 5/1 is just action x in mt body with less dpm. chrysler K feels awkward if its ur 1st time using rear mounted turrret but overrall a solid tank. for me not any of them are worth it because i own all of them tried and tested may times. its just a meh feeling. i prefer chimera because for that alpha that makes it comfortable
Chrysler is a better heavy….a lot stronger
If you have the shark then you’re not missing out on any other decent tier 8 heavy tanks
My recommendation would be the chimera because that is the most powerful tier 8 medium atm
Do you have the wz 112-2 (heavy) or wz 122 (med) ?
If you don't have the WZ 122, then go for the chimera. Both are quite similar.
If you already have the wz 122, then Action X or Mk 5/1 are good additions to your collection.

Hello droodlez, U never mentioned or emphasize its mobility, Like I play this tank in MT side, Like It dominates MTs and this beast is really hard to flank because of its very fast turret trev. and even though its max at 32, its accel is somehow really fast, making it supper mobile and turn rate is somehow realy quick as well, over all, its a beast on T8, Its A heavy that can flank,, its more of like an MBT class rather than just a heavy tank..

If you know where to shoot and have a tank with decent pen it’s not too hard.

My stat n performance better in tech tree caernavon than my action x..i dunno why because they got same playstyle..

i've quit wotb but u do like the TT caernavon better even if worse armour... i like more dpm
My biggest and only regret playing blitz is taking the Cent 5/1 over the Action X in the event they had.

Cup streams, it’s a pretty good tank but gets boring afterwards, kinda like the 252 where it’s fun to play at first then it get boring.

I prefer tanks with higher alpha than higher dpm, mainly because I am not a pro & I like to look at my surroundings during reload time. With action x you're just keep on firing not knowing property what else is happening on the other side of the map.

Action x is team dependent whereas other heavy are team depends on(not including camper and afk)
ax is not team dependent. As long as you don't sit still, anything that isn't a td or a tier 9 heavy will struggle to pen your turret

@@IanSumallo the torret cheeks are much better angled, still have flat areas but is much harder to hit them
@@castavila6747 and also i think the front upper plate feels a lot stronger than before. its just better overall. apart from the mid plate that still sucks (even though its been buff lol)
@@sloppyfadge2029 for me it went worse Haha, when I was facing lowes after the pbr update the lower plate becomes much easier pen because they changed that troll angle that now it need less premium rounds to pen it easier

Droodles you’re missing a few seconds of hour intro and started mid explanation
I was irritated because right after I got this, they buffed Caer's gun to slightly bigger alpha. And its turret seems tougher too in actual battles because you don't have the huge cupola sticking up like Action. And with the speed boost on the Caer, I rarely take out Action anymore.

It has dpm, speed, armor,accuracy and credits. What do u want more? You clearly didn’t do a small investigation at all. Do that before you make senseless claims.
