It's so cute that Dream can tell it's his brother playing. There'd probably be a lineup of the exact same thing by 200 different people and he'd still be able to identify him
As a violin player myself, I can say that the sound of a violin can successfully travel throughout someone's house (I don't know about bigger houses though, as my house is both big, but small at the same time). The only exceptions in this video are that Dream and Ink are not in the house, but there's probably another reason as to why both of them can hear the song.
Also, I love this song too much for my own good
