Immigrant from this time is so much different from the past. You can't just say they are immigrants without help. The came illegally and gotten free help from the city!!.. something you would never had back in the 80s!!...that process was legal and right away. Yes American citizens have been homeless in NYC for years and they live in shelters while working for 5-7 years before getting housing. They have never lifted a finger until now.
