hey, thank you for the freebies and vid tut! I don’t usually use photo textures but playing around with the gold layer was fun! using it as a clipping mask on my drawing layer (consisting simply of the word “lmao” written in cursive, tbh) resulted in an intersting gold foil text effect. the inverse opacity setting of the rough brush is something I’ll have to play with more to get used to, though it really does have a nice effect with the overlaid textures! 4:50 if you could figure out how to stop the camera from bobbing as you draw (I’m assuming either by disabling auto-refocus or moving your camera stand off the same table as your tablet) that’d be appreciated! good luck with your channel!
Aww, thank you so much! I'm happy that you're having fun with the brush set! ❤ I'm filming these videos on my phone, unfortunately some painting scenes confuse the phone camera and it re-focuses. If anybody has good advice for me on how to stop it, I gladly take it. ^^
@@iria_airi maybe try long-pressing on the area of focus to turn on autofocus/autoexposure (AF/AE) lock? that’s how my built-in Android and iPad camera apps work, at least! (I also have a 2021 copy of GCam installed on my phone that doesn’t have AF/AE lock, apparently it’d need to be updated to a 2022 version that added the function back in!)
