Love this combo! Bought both the MX Master 3S and MX Keys Mini today, mainly due to them leveraging on the latest Logi Bolt USB Receiver which is touted to be more secure than the previous Logi USB receivers. Cannot wait to really test them in their paces.
Bought them today! 🍻going from 20€ keyboard and mouse pack/combo.. I hope the change will be worth it! As I want to user windows laptop with android tablet!

I love it more than the full size version! Most of us don't need the numpad. And the smaller size means I can use the mouse and keyboard closer to each other which is more ergonomic.

Bought both of these for my work. Used to use an Apple Keyboard & Magic Mouse before switching to a wired mechanical keyboard. Got sick of having to swap batteries all the time.
I tried a wired mechanical keyboard, following the hype train, but they are uncomfortable and loud. Membrane keyboards are great for productivity.

Great review, great devices. However, I would swap over to wired peripherals, as the jury is still out on the health and safety of Bluetooth.
At the minute 6:07, does the automatic switch feature works when you press the machine-switching buttons on the keyboard? In some CZcams channel, they said that when we need to switch to another machine, we need to press both the buttons on keyboard and the button below the mouse.

How did you setup two laptops on one screen like left Mac and right windows ? Can you do the same on lg 32 inch monitors ?
How is the switching between split screen and full screen? Do you have to turn off Flow so that the control doesn't get lost when you go to full screen on one of the devices?

What about the life of the keys on the MX Keys Mini if for people who type hard -- hit the keys hard while they type?
@Mike Wat thanks for this great video. I had a question about the Fn and Ctrl key on the MX Keys Mini. These keys are swapped when compared to the keyboard that comes with the MacBook. From what I have learned, Logi Options won't let you remapt the Fn and Ctrl keys. Could you confirm if you can switch them back to the standard MacBook layout by the macOS Preferences > Keyboard > Modifier Keys only for this keyboard and not disturb the layout for the keyboard on the MacBook? Thanks in advance!
hey buddy! The fcn and ctrl keys will not swap on the mx keyboard, but i like it that way because I feel that the ctrl key is in a more natural position for me to access. Hope that helps!
Hey @@MikeWat , thanks for taking time to reply. I am also working on my typing speed so want something more consistent with the default keyboard. Is it not possible to swap with macOS System Preferences (Preferences > Keyboard > Modifier Keys) as well?
Can normal keys be customized as well? like qwerty ?
If anyone wants a cheaper option for PC, Microsoft makes the Compact Designer Keyboard, Ergonomic Bluetooth Mouse, and Designer Number Pad that all work GREAT. Tech is very similar to Logitech's too with their Mouse and Keyboard Center app.
It'd be interesting to see how their app compares! :)
@@MikeWat features are a bit more stripped down than Logitech's, (you also lose backlight on the keyboard) but you still get Microsoft's version of Logitech flow!
Can we get the mx mouse and the mx keys to switch it automatically - when we press the 2nd computer connect on the kb, like will it automatically switch the mouse as well with the config settings, where you dont have to press the button under the mouse. Is there a way to set this up ? Please advise. thanks

Bumped into the 'What's in my Bag' video
i tried the MX Master and MX Keys beside my G305 and G915 for some time to find out which fits me the best. The MX Master and MX Keys lost in huge amount.. Mouse too heavy to move and the tactile G915 is a typing dream come true. The background light bleeding out in between all keys gave me the rest on the MX Keys. But everybody should use what they like 🍻
I still got the G915 TKL and G502...but on my dedicated gaming setup now :)

Yup! However, without the app you need to manually press the buttons to switch to the other computer. You can connect them through bluetooth or using the 2.4ghz USB or the new bolt usb

for me the master 3s is overrated. 1. it its quite big and heavy. For me with midsized hands to big and heavy. 2. and this was the biggest issue. The scroll wheel is peace of trash. It was always stuttering when fast scrolling. But this seems to be a known issue. But the functionality was great.

Am I the only one that actually doesn't like the MX3?
I've had it and HATED it because of the low polling rate. After being used to 1000hz for over 10 years, it felt so disgusting using the MX3.
I just don't get how no reviewer mentions that...
interesting... I didn't find it affecting me too much switching over from the G502. what application did you really notice the difference on?
@@MikeWat everything. I hated it for Photoshop, and even on the desktop.
Switched over from G402 to MX Master 3, its really good and didn't notice polling rate concerns. My MX Keys are comimg to morrow.

maybe it's more about the person than the tools ;)
@@MikeWat I'm pretty sure it's not. It's just overhyping on a low performance low-profile keyboard and very heavy and not that ergonomic mouse aswell.
