      I love body locks. When I start wrestling, all I'll study at first is body locks and takedowns

    Many people, it’s hard to understand the pummel, because when they drill live, people often pull their hips back to protect form a bock lock.
    What they new Wrestler doesn’t understand is the attacker wants them to pull their hips back. If the defender pulls her hips back, they lost the pummel and they are in snap down/ headlock country.
    While drilling, people pulling their hips back is a real problem. Because they don’t understand the danger they’re putting themselves in from A competent wrestler.

    Thank u I get the body lock I flip them on the cage and I don’t know what to do next I’ll try this and see how it goes. Grabbing above the waist was the important detail

      To be honest I'd rather see the shorts than a man bulge! Lol! I really don't care what they wear as long as it's grappling appropriate.

      Fabric prevents burns from tatami. My knees has taken few hits from friction so I guess its just for protection.

      more coverage from bacteria and friction the better. shorts I'd assume is just so theres more than skin tight fabric covering your manhood from the gym lol

    what happens if you have him on the ground and he tries to knee you in the face?

    • @evgenybelilovskiy1205
      @evgenybelilovskiy1205 Před 3 lety +9

      Your face should be nowhere near his knees on the ground. If you mean when he drops down during the stand up, there is nothing to worry about. If you have a tight body lock, literally all of your opponents strength is used to not fold in half backwards. If he tries to shift his weight off center to knee the guy, he will crash to the hard concrete with the 200lb+ guy on top of his ribs and clavicles. Fight will end in seconds. His best bet at that point is to try to squirm and get his hips away to remain standing, or try to pull guard if he falls.
