Critical conversations - Early Marriages & Population Matters

In partnership with Critical Conversations Associations, the Drawing Dreams Initiative courageously addressed the challenging topic of Child Marriage. Through creative engagement and proactive dialogue, our efforts focused on dispelling deep-rooted cultural beliefs, particularly within the Maasai community beyond Amboseli. We documented how Child Marriage harms young girls by robbing them of their childhood, limiting their education, and forcing them into premature adult responsibilities. This harmful practice often leads to health complications, perpetuates cycles of poverty, and violates fundamental human rights, denying children their full potential and opportunities for a brighter future.
