Yep, I think that's why fans really respect Werner and gave him a chant despite the poor form in finishing. It's been well known that he is a very hard worker and just gets on with what he has to do to earn his spot, fits himself into the system the manager has given, and just give his best effort to the club without any complaint.

Had it not been for mistakes from the back line and forwards, that would be a win all day long. And it's probably the best performance by a midfield pivot all season. Great analysis as usual. Great team effort and as you say some great individual performance and great energy. Jorghino was not good enough. As soon as he came on the energy and intensity fell. Kovacic and Kante would be even better if we had someone stronger and more reliable in midfield. TT deserves all the support as he fights for Chelsea. Lukaku needs to now get on his hands and knees and apologise to the squad, Tuchel, the fans and management, otherwise, he can go.

On the Lukaku issue, well I sincerely hope some maturity is shown. Whether one see's it as shocking disloyalty or a storm in a teacup, it is best that the player and manager have a grown up face to face. I don't think Lukaku needs to make a grovelling public apology but he does need to redeem himself with Tuchel and the club. Hopefully he does and we can move on. Great fighting spirit from the lads as going 0-2 against Liverpool and with all the recent problems, we could have collapsed. When The Bridge is loud, it's bloody loud. Hear the effects microphone crackling for Pulisic's goal. Onto Spurs and KTBFFH.

That was a great game. Just wish that we could become as incisive as Liverpool and Man City near goal. Not sure why we brought on Jorginho (someone else could have replaced TC). He is hopeless in games when he is put under pressure (gave the ball away too often). Havertz has OK movement, but never wins 50-50 balls and I seldom see any magic from him (considering that he is suppose to be one of the players of his generation).

I think you were a bit hard on Chalobah because he was solid except for the one mistake. Considering our forwards made a mess a few times and we could have been one up before that mistake if Pulisic did better with Alexander-Arnold's mistake and ahead going into the second half had Havertz made a better decision to go for goal with his right rather than cut back on his left. You could have saved the extra box and given the midfield pair the blue box because they were amazing together and a green box for heart and fight. Sometimes I see us go down early and we seem so defeated that the fight to get something out of a game is lost.
