The Court of Owls were going to recruit Dick Grayson to become a Talon but Bruce got to him first on the night his parents were killed. That’s another interesting add on to Nightwing’s resume.
Bruce didn't "get to him first" it was entirely by coincidence. Haley's Circus was going to groom Dick to become a Talon because the entire Grayson family lineage is made up of Talons. Bruce adopting Dick was purely happenstance.
Yeah that doesn't really say anything about his skills cause they were going to train him
@redhoodie4111 to be more specific they were going to groom him into being an immortal assassin.
@@protalghulnist4126 I think a group of assassins know potential when they see it.
That's why his death in Injustice was always a head scratcher for me.
Yeah me too man, but I think it did end up having a decent twist towards the end of the injustice comics
I think one of the authors / directors of the comics / game said something along the lines of he needed to die or else the events that followed just straight up wouldn’t happen because of his presence and communication skills, or something along those lines
@@natesalden168 yeah I think it makes for a great storyline, I think Damian knowing what Nightwing was really capable of adds to the shock of him actually causing Nightwing to die.
Writers Hoed Night Wing for nothing it’s nihilistic comedy
I'm sure it scratched his head pretty well too
The fact you even said, "He even beaten Red Hood," says it all, even if it was obvious
Jason has also beaten him/or had the edge a few times
@@newhybrid101 True but tbh both held back on eachother in most fights. So using previous victories like Dick beating Jason or Jason defeating Nightwing can't be used as actual evidence for who would win. As alot of people take offense to that and end up saying "he held back tho" And sometimes comic writers f*ck up their own powerscaling and choose that the other guy wins when they feel like it.
@@newhybrid101only when nightwing was holding back without the intention of fighting him, or injured from before
@newhybrid101 that was when nightwing was cut off guard and holding back alot. Red hood meat rider
@@Azeral7caught off guard? LOL HE WAS BLITZED. The times Red Hood beat Nightwing was in cases where Nightwing was going to die. Bro was handling members of the Bat-Fam including Nightwing.
Punching your way out of a sub underwater isn't like super human it is super human...
I keep saying it, DC's "human" heroes are indeed still superheroes. DC has that anime "if you train hard enough you can become superhuman" thing, it's just to a lesser extent of the actual metahumans.
@@spikem5950adding on to that, pitting DC “humans” to other media superhuman is sometimes just unfair like Nightwing vs My Hero 😂
@@cartoonz7132 Night Wing would fucking wreck anyone but All Might and the main villain dude from My Hero. Just two completely different power levels the two settings operate in.
@@spikem5950i don’t even like mha and ik this is cap
@@spikem5950yeah this is straight up bs. There are broken quirks in mha that will stop Nightwing instantly. Even season 1 nomu would be an overkill for him lol
Nightwing is the closest of being Batman's successor.
Jason todd is only known for being beat up by joker lol 😂😮😊
Not even close, you are just biased cause he is "nicer" as a person.
Nightwing isnt Bruces successor,he is his own man.
He is the original of his kind and someone else will be Nightwings successor.
He isnt like Bruce in any way.
All fans are biased towards Nightwing but in pretty much all possible futures we have seen he is irrelevant,he either dies early or retires early and chills with a family he creates.
Even Future Tim said that.
DC has showed fans time and time again that Damian is Bruces successor, they literally said in Dark Crisis that he becomes Batman in pretty much all possibilities in the future.
And indeed in most future elseworlds stories he is Bruces successor.
All this talk about Nightwing is NPC talk,he is just nice and likable but that doesn't mean much.
The only time Nightwing was Bruces successor was in Golden Age Earth 2 cause Damian and Terry werent a thing.
Just because he is one of Bruces sons, the second most beloved(yes Injustice isnt accurate big surprise),doesnt mean he is his successor.
To say he is "Batmans successor" completely ruins Nightwings character arc, ironically it means you arent much of a fan of him.
Bruces true successor?
Who was the Batman who saved the universe in DCSEASED(Earth 55)? Potentially even multiverse if the virus invaded other dimensions
Which Batman sacrificed his life at age 17 to save everyone?
The real answer is Damian and Terry, two sides of Batman.
One is the closest approximation to Bruces Batman and the other is a different kind of Batman.
@@newhybrid101Bro wrote an entire novel 😂
@@newhybrid101bro what???!!! Have u read the battle for the cowl? Or any comic. Bruce Wayne himself said if he was to die. Nightwing would take up the mantle.
@@erikrousu😂😂
You have to remember that Wonder Woman once divided Nightwing to join the justice league. Not because he was there equal, but because she believed he had a potential to surpass them.
He's also led the Justice League on multiple different occasions. He was the leader of the backup League during Obsidian Age over veterans like Green Arrow and Hawkgirl.
I've always seen it like this ....
Dick Grayson = Leonardo
Jason tood = Raphael
Tim drake = Donatello
Damian Wayne = Michaelangelo
That’s fair, Nightwing being the most skilled, and having the best leadership qualities. Red Hood being the strongest/brute force rage filled. Red Robin having the best detective skills, and Damien being the best naturally gifted being the actual son of Bruce Wayne.
Michaelangelo is the most skilled turtle and most potential
Depends on which Damien. Because comic Damien ain't that funny. Actually i always saw Damien more as a Leonardo because they both use blades and both are serious. While Nightwing i saw as Michaelangelo as the jokester of the four.
@@Gamer-Wolf. I think your missing their point
@@chalkdemon8019 problem is Jason isn't stronger than Grayson.
Ok so looking at the composite versions of their characters not taking into account future stuff, the fight is very close. Jason is stated to have the highest potential and best natural instincts of the entire batfamily, as well as the most varied training. Dick on the other hand has more experience and is outright stated to be a better fighter than Batman being the only Robin to beat him in a fair no holding back match. Jason is physically stronger, the most resilient, and has the strongest will, but Dick closely follows in all of these, barely edges out in speed, and far surpasses him in agility. Dick is also smarter, however Jason has actually shown a better tactical approach to fighting with better planning and more frequent showings of adaptability. Ignoring future versions of these characters and outlier universes like Injustice Dick still comes out on top maybe 6 times out of 10, but the fight is anything but clear cut.
Edges?
highest potential would be Damian.
No, Jason does not have the highest potential. Dick does. Dick was scouted to become a Talon in the Court of Owls. He was also asked to join the Justice League as an equal by Wonder Woman because she believed he had the potential to surpass ALL OF THEM. He was also trained by Superman to such a degree that in some stats he is actually just beyond peak human now.
Jason does have a better instinct for when he is in danger than the other Robins. Jason was looked at by the Court and deemed not worthy because he lacks inherent talent. Yes, the Owls looked at every single one of the Robins and even both of the Batgirls. What, you didn't know there was a Batgirl that wasn't Barbara?
Strength wise? They are actually almost even, shockingly enough. Jason is built more like a lifter, Dick is built more like a swordsman. A swordsman's muscles are tighter than a lifters. This makes them more compact while being just as strong.
Jason absolutely has more resilience. However their will is even. Dick went through a LOT of crap. Jason went through the pit but how one ends up is always completely up to the writers. If we actually went with the proper original lore of the pit, anyone revived using it is stripped of their morality completely and will NEVER regain it. That is it, the only negative to using it. No one would go mad, or shift their personality to something opposite like we see in various places. Anything that isn't the simple removal of morality is the writer getting it wrong. Thus, ignore the pit entirely.
Jason doesn't have the most varied training. Everyone forgets Dick was with the Titans for years 24/7. Dick knows Amazonian, Atlantean, Tamaranean martial arts as well. He also went with Batman during the 52 year after Infinite Crisis when Batman redid all his old training. Dick has all of Batman's training and much much more. He also has circus training since he was a baby. Plus, training only goes so far. Dick is THE best athlete on the planet, too. He's a physical freak, a prodigy. Pick a sport, and he'd probably be the best in the world at it. He is able to utilize that training better.
@@huntertezz Potential doesn't mean anything if is isn't utilized... I mean.. look at Dragon ball's use of Gohan.... Unlimited Potential... and they just never utilized him properly to take the place that even the Creator wanted him to take. Cell Saga was ment to be Gohan's step forward but studio wanted Goku.. even when they could of did it in GT.. what did we get... Goku being turned into a kid to Dragon Ball again with Z and GT upgrades and now it's not even Canon.
Damian has Potential.. but if they don't dev and work his character right... he'll become a Gohan or worse... they can over correct and make him a Mary Stu... and no one wants that
I'll tell you one thing. Both Nightwing and Red Hood had school'd Damian. Lol
Batman beyond vs night wing
@@MasculineSpacetbh Terry is kinda....weak.
So? Its a 10 year old kid against better trained adults.
Put adult Damian he destroys both of them.
Respectfully would have to disagree but wouldnt red hood and nightwing still have more experience by the time damian grows up (injustice nightwing was bs that dont count)@huntertezz
@@InvisibleMan849 experience isn't everything. Damian has alot if talent and is only held back by his young age.
(No one counts injustice Damian he sucks) We have seen more adult Damian like the one in Beyond who was stated to be better than prime Bruce and was destroying Terry.
Also most versions of Damian gain magic when they are adults.
The strongest Non-Benders in Avatar.
Sokka in the Yakone flashback has to be OP,obviously would destroy his ATLA self
@@newhybrid101but sokka is a bender, so he doesnt count. He bends his boomerang in the air
Imo. Ty Lee in a sense is def one of them, since she was able to chi block almost all the benders upto someone as skilled and powerful as Paula, albeit catching her off guard. Bit did succeed against people like katara.
The equaliser with the twin electric batons, he was successful on taking on a few high level benders.
Rock Lee is alright too I guess
They're both the better versions of what batman is meant to be just one is the closet to being his successor
Nope just Nightwing. Bruce even says that. Meanwhile Batman was never meant to be a killer which Jason is. However i would say that Jason is close to Bruce in terms of a fight. But Red hood is never what Batman was meant to be.
@@Gamer-Wolf. yes Batman is not meant to be a killer however even Bruce would and should admit some people deserve to die. Dick is the clear version of Batman is meant to be , Jason is willing to do what Bruce won’t when the world needs it.
@@Mike-fc9bxno batman is meant to be like bruce, 100% dedicated and torturing himself to make sure hes 100% dedicated, all things dick just wouldn't do, batman doesn't want dick to be batman because he is better than that mantle, he's beyond it, dick is nightwing, jason is redhood batman's successor is terry mcguiness
@@Mike-fc9bx No, not by being murdered. Batman’s ideology is to try and save everyone, even the ones that don’t deserve it.
Nop, just Nightwing, Dick Grayson is batman's biggest achievement while Jason is his wor'st fail
I'm not that big of a red hood fan, but I don't think this is a "Isn't even close" fight, since red hood confirmed that he's always holding back when fighting batman, Red hood might also seem always angry, but almost in every comic he is in, he's always the most calm, it's just his tone of voice, Not to mention he was also the only one to take out a large talon alone, while Tim and damian needed to help each other, He is also always holding back against everyone in the bat family, when he fought Cassandra, Tim, and nightwing and winning the fight, yes he got pinned but it was cuz he's holding back, he could've killed dick with the train but he decided to save him instead, and he knocked out Cassandra several times with only landing a few hits on him, and Tim DIDN'T even stand a chance, Jason/ Red hood, also already dog walked damian while he was drunk and damian was in rage, also that "dick knocked out Cassy with one punch' was just one comic, cuz in a different one dick didn't even stand a chance, while Jason has beaten her multiple times, he easily beats Shiva trained Man-bats SHIVE TRAINED, the woman who batman considers as the best fighter in the whole world, he is also MUCH faster and has the same level iq as Tim, he humiliated Tim a bunch of times, and he also was able to break in to Tim's hq, which Tim stated to be impossible to break into, he also humiliated Tim in fight while he was BLIND, he also fought a large group of talons and KO'd almost all of them, not to mention they had guns, was able to take out Cassandra while following him stealthily (I just started reading red hood comics last week so I wanted to brag abt his feats LMAO, and also this is just the tip of the Jason Todd FEATS)
I also just started reading red hood comics, I wanted to comment the same thing but looks like you already beat me to it lol
The entire family was holding back more than Red Hood which he pointed out and Grayson even said he was lying about holding back too, so did Cassandra Cain.
He only beat Shiva cause Shiva taught him a technique to take people like her down and it didn't work on Bronze Tiger. Jason has never defeated Cassandra in a fair fight EVER 💀 bruh stop meat riding him , he probably scales at Tim Drakes level currently or slightly above since he's willing to hurt him more.
@@user-lp8im7ow8sYou haven't read any Red Hood comics have you? Jason is easily on the same level as Dick, they're is a reason they were the originals,
He is one the only people to beat and outsmart Batman in their first fight.
He outsmarted and broke the grip of Supergirl with the venom drug
He beat Deathstroke and an upgraded Ras Al Ghul, two people said to be on the same level as the Batman himself.
Knocked Lobo out with a crowbar.
Tanked a missile shot at submarine underwater which he punched a whole through.
Cut off a massive dinosaur's head with the All Blades,
Kicked the door off a plane going over 500 mph,
Lighting quick reaction speed and agility dodging a bullet point blank,
Fought and dodged attacks from Artemis,
As Robin dodged gunfire from highly experienced mobsters,
Beat freeze and Nightwing to a stale mate.
Stabbed Onyx before she could even notice,
Broke into Titans tower beat every member without being noticed only by Tim Drake which he beat easily,
Tanked hits from Bizarro, Ravager, Artemis, and Frankenstein,
Sensed ships that were cloaked,
Blitzed and beat a team of trained SWAT officers with practically nothing,
Survived a ritual that no human has survived in a thousand years,
Shot through Deathstrokes armor, which was said to be bulletproof, and straight through his arm,
Beat the All Caste with help from Artemis and Arsenal,
Cut a couple arrows in half with knife as they were shot at him from Speedy, trained by Oliver Queen
Hit Green Arrow as he was watching him, before he could react, a guy that has split second reaction speed,
Blitzed and beat a group of shooters before they could get a shot off.
Is that enough? There is no way in hell that Jason, especially venomed Jason is on the level of Time Drake, who he has beaten senseless multiple times and actually killed in Battle for the Cowl. He is at least on Nightwing's level if you take his fears at face value, maybe even more, he has beaten him and Batman to a stalemate multiple different times, all with different tactics.
And he survived a nuke blast that’s super human level

You should put this as a comment not only an answer
People love nightwing blindy, not only for being the first robin, but because hes a mix, between Superman and Batman, because he is the representation of hope and is super hearted , and a member of The bat family with dark origin
Even if tomorrow redhood wipes the floor with him with good writting and explanation, nobody will change its mind, thats the truth, its just a more loved character and famous one
Batman watching his kids fighting again.
To summarize: Nightwing will win because of “superior agility” and being able to get under Red Hood’s skin. Save your time & thank me later 👍🙂👍
How about I thank you now, kind stranger?
Yeah dan didn’t really explain why nightwing wins at all. But we all know nightwing would win any fight with jason anyway
Thank you this video does not need to be thus this long
@@NormanOsbornMSFI think most people would think it would atleat be a close fight
@@dragowolf268 it actually is a close fight tbh
The cool thing about these two facing each other, you could reasonably argue for either of them winning
Not really, Nightwing doesn’t have a single reason to lose to Red Hood
@@papabroke7567 Except that he's lost to him before, which sounds like a pretty good one to me. As an aside DanCo seemed to miss this but Jason does in fact straight up have superpowers; his physicality was improved dramatically after he was revived by the Lazarus pit. In the New 52 continuity he was straight up able to rip his hand out of Supergirl's grasp, he is muuuch stronger than Dick. If you want to use the equipment he gets from the new 52 or Rebirth runs of Red Hood and the Outlaws then he also has access to an enormous arsenal of sci-fi alien weapons, extremely advanced and durable armour and a personal cloaking device. He has up and *defeated* deathsroke in a one on one fight which is not something I could ever see Dick doing alone seeing as how Slade gives all of the Teen Titans combined a hard time. Dick is one of those characters the writers are very inconsistent with power scaling-wise; some like to give him a massive hand job and say he's better than Batman, others sideline him and have him get mirked by low tier characters. I'm not even saying he'd necessarily lose, just that Red Hood would give him the fight of his life and that an author could absolutely have it go either way.
you can't
Nightwing is better than Red Hood. There is no argument.
@@papabroke7567 depends, on a even fight yeah dick wins but he also isn't willing to fight dirty like Jason which if Jason does then he can beat Dick just not fairly
The first 2 Robins.
Yes, Jason has been trained by Batman, as well as the people who trained Batman, as well as other masters and assassin's who are the best in their fields. Most notably, he has also been trained by Bronze Tiger as well as Lady Shiva, noted as being two of the greatest Martial Artists on earth and BOTH of them have stated that Red Hood was their greatest student. No one else boasts that claim. As far as Cassandra Cain is concerned, when Red Hood was able to get the better of her, this is significant because Cassie has always been known as the deadlier fighter between herself and Batman with Batman himself saying he couldn't take her in a fair fight. Oh, and lets not forget that Jason has been heavily trained by the All Caste.
These things matter. And Jason does hold back a lot, especially when it comes to fighting his family. But the greatest moment, to me anyway, was during the Event Leviathan saga when Batman and the "Detectives" approached him in Ep. 3 of the series. This is a line-up that includes Green Arrow, Plastic Man, Manhunter, The Question, Batman, Damien Wayne's Robin and Lois Lane. The battle that happened there was epic. This meeting turned into a battle. A battle in which Jason wiped the floor with them. WIPED THE FLOOR with them. He even had time to talk to Lois after the fight she witnessed. Jason kicks their a$$es then casually walks away from Lois after she asks him a couple of questions. Just casually walks away like it was another Tuesday. He was disappointed that others may have believed he was Leviathan. The look on his face, the skill he displayed in that fight, conveyed that he was done playing around. He was calm and collected which made that fight even better. He wasn't holding back this time and it showed. After getting their a$$es handed to them, Damien states out loud to everyone present that "Jason Todd is one of the great master fighters of all time,” and Batman doesn't argue. This should've been included in this video, but it wasn't.
I'm a Jason Todd fan but I haven't been able to keep up with the comics but that's awesome to know about
Well of course it wasn't, that would go against the point of the video.
Jason Todd is an absolute monster when it comes to fighting, and inconsistent writing is the only reason videos like this one are made. Jason would body Dick in a straight up fight, but because Dick is able to get under Jason's skin and he's more acrobatic/faster than Jason he would get the upper hand.
Because Dick is a better fighter anyways. He is faster, smarter and much more agile. There's no reason to include that.
@@heltongomez8865, Nightwing is more agile. I will give you that. But he is not faster than Red Hood. Nightwing definitely isn't the better fighter. He's an incredible fighter to be sure, and I love his character, but Jason was literally trained to be the best. Their power scales don't really compare. Red Hood is absolutely able to tank incredible punishment and still move forward. He also heals rapidly, though that may be a byproduct of his exposure to the Lazarus Pit. And let's not forget that when Batman feels the need to subdue Red Hood, he sends the ENTIRETY of the Bat family, including Cassandra Cain to do so and they never even get what the want. He always achieves his objective in spite of the attack. If Grayson could handle him alone then he's all that would be needed. He's never been enough to get it done. He can't get it done alone and Batman knows this, hence sending the entire family after Red Hood.
Again, I'm a huge fan of Nightwing. I view him as the ideal version of goodness, power and strength. But in the case of who the most powerful fighter is, it is absolutely Jason. He just is.
You typed all of this glaze but bro couldn’t even handle the joker😂
I forget which comic it was, but I remember one where we got a little bit of Bruce’s inner monologue, and he talks about both of them. Dick, he says, is pretty much on his own level. But with Jason, he regretted even training him and letting him become Robin at all. He realized that Jason was just never on the same level as Dick in his training. Jason may have gotten more training and experience later but it’s not as if Dick spent that same time just sitting around watching TV
Hey man, I’m a big fan. Great work. Can you do a The Stalker ( Batman Beyond) vs Kraven The Hunter.
im sorry but it doesnt matter how many back flips you do no one is gonna dodge bullets like that unless ur spiderman and can sense the bullet before its even shot.
I hate when you say that red hood beat deathstroke because clearly slade was weakened by snakebite's poison and deathstroke said if he was at full strength he could have beat batman in just three moves and I believe him cause deathstroke is such a hardcore and badass character.
Bru yea that one time any other time Batman schooled him just like everyone else man is the world greatest hand to hand combatant and he don’t even need super soldier serum unlike others with no powers he don’t need that to be the best 😂
@@JavonJennings-ql3sz first of all slade was a top tier hand to hand fighter before the serum so what are you talking about
@@JavonJennings-ql3sz There are multiple examples of the two fighting where Batman wins and multiple examples where Deathstroke wins. Stop cherry picking. Every character has their own strengths and weaknesses that can be exploited, and there's always an element of unpredictability in a fight.
@@spikem5950 Plot armour bro and you know ther no way batman beatting a super soldier reguardless of training or experience.
@@thunderlion6909 In a spontaneous fight, yes, Deathstroke wins nine times out of ten realistically. If Slade can plan and Bruce is caught by surprise, I see no way Bruce can win. If Bruce can plan but Slade can't, I'd put it at 8/10 on Batman's side. If they've both planned for it, it's probably a 6.5-7/10 on Slade's side.
But there's still that chance. NO fight's outcome is guaranteed.
I think it also depends of the writers too
the bat family vs the fast and furious family
Hol on now😂😂
Plot armor vs Family power
Family always wins in the end
I can't disagree with Daniel on nightwing taking this fight, but as a character goes i will always be a bigger fan of the red Hood.
his character in under the red hood is just so sick

Nightwing is equal to Batman. Even Batman acknowledges this. And in some iterations he's actually superior to Batman
I saw someone say that Nightwing is the true Batman successor, but I think Batman himself would agree that would be a downgrade for Dick
5:20 wrong the author of the comic himself said that Batman did not hold back in the fight with dick grayson.

I thought this fight was always close.
It really is honestly
It really is honestly
It has never been close. People assume that because Jason injects himself with Venom, and he was able to get out of a restrained Supergirl's grip, that it has always been close. Supergirl wasn't even trying when that happened. Nightwing is what happens if Bruce never lost his parents.

Great video! 13:46 which movie or animation were those scenes of Nightwing taken from?
Batman said in Gotham Knights that even he was wrong for wanting Dick to be the next Batman, it was the fact that he had to be more like Nightwing.
Bane (Dc Comics) vs Ranma Saotome
Pegasus Seiya vs Aquaman
Batman vs X-Men
Freddy Krueger vs Scarecrow (Dc Comics)
Shredder vs Taskmaster
These are two of my favorite characters, so might as well recommend to do my other 2: Superboy VS Kyle Rayner
Would love to see Hydra vs The First Order
Danco, can you do Nightwing vs Daredevil?
Yes, please!
Depends on the versions, everyone is different in each universe.
If we are using Injustice then Jason utterly destroys him with zero difficulty.
In that universe Bane easily beat Nightwing and then Bruce came and easily defeated Bane, but in the spin off comics to Injustice 2 show Jason EASILY destroy Bruce and Bruce himself said Jason was just better.
Granted that was a version of Jason who was 32 years old(yes i checked it) and probably achieved his full potential
Strongest version of Jason Todd ever
A lot of the time Nightwing simply has a big headstart in his progress and experience.
Another universe where Jason scales above Nightwing is the Arkham games.
In the prelude comics Jason is flat out unimpressed by Nightwing and Tim Drake who can barely fight Deathstroke, whom later Jason easily deflects a surprise attack from.
Yes Bruce said Nightwing was the best fighter he trained but he didnt even know Jason had survived at that point and would only be comparing Nightwing to Robin Jason and Tim Drake.
When Jason and Bruce first have a physical exchange they are basically even with each other, despite Bruce having a suit that is stated to make him stronger, although Bruce did seem a bit stronger when they were choking each other.
The bio files say Nightwing is a NEAR rival to Bruce.
Arkham Jason was also trained by Deathstroke(a privilege most versions of Jason dont have)and is a full rival to Bruce.
He even temporarily put him down with a sucker punch before shooting him
Deathstroke also said Jason only lost to Bruce due to his emotional state and breaking down, gameplay shows this by Jason losing his health bar even though he isnt actually really physically damaged.
Overall though, yes,Nightwing will beat Red Hood a good majority of of the time in most versions.
Nightwing already had an acrobatic background, has much more experience, more training and his age is actually better than Jasons as males reach their peak in their late 20s,while Jason is normally in his early 20s,which means Nightwing is more developed
You gotta use all the versions dog
If your using other versions, then superwing kills redhood in one punch
@@HarambeMan Jason isn't stupid. He can totally figure out that he need kryptonite bullets.
Dude, you're mostly right but even in canon, as in main universe, Jason has beaten both Dick and Bruce multiple times. Jason is a trained killer, he's a goddamn assassin, I never understand how people think the guy who kills on a regular basis, doesn't hold back and uses actual effective weaponry would lose to the guy with two sticks and no killer instinct.
I get that most comic readers are nerds, not fighters or soldiers or even anyone who's ever been in a real fight but c'mon use your brains, the trained killer is not losing to guy who only knows how to fight.
Comicbook nonsense makes these fighters seem like they can take on a squad of armed men armed to the teeth and win, if comics weren't written by morons, both Batman and Nightwing would be dead by now, especially with how they operate: which is refusing to use actual weapons, instead charging into battle with toys and blackbelt bullshit, like pretending to be Bruce Lee makes you bulletproof.
@@HarambeMan I think you mean ChickenWING is gonna get barbecued with Bullets by KING HOOD 😂

Glad you clarified towards the end, I definitely agree in the case that you laid out.
hey danco can you do a battle of IDW megatron vs Primus
Thank you for the outstanding show today!
Do videos on Silver Age Superman Vs Classic Adam Warlock, Superboy/Superman Prime Vs The Magus, & Cosmic Armor Superman Vs LT Adam Warlock. Also do a video on The Punisher Vs David Cain.

I had that comic as a teenager!!!!
Go, New Teen Titans!!!!
Go, Nightwing, the first and GREATEST Robin!!!!
'Nuff said (oops, wrong comic company)!!!!
Nightwing comfortably defeated Red Hood in ‘Battle for the Cowl’ yes also more experienced and is the superior acrobat so he wins.
Light Yagami vs Riddler
Batman vs Charlotte Katakuri
Naruto Uzumaki vs Captain America
Joker (DC Comics) vs Daredevil
Kingpin (Marvel) vs Red Hood
Batman vs katakuri is a mismatch.
Naruto vs cap America is a mismatch also
Batman vs Katakuri is insane 💀 I love Batman he’s the absolute goat but katakuri wouldn’t even need haki not his devil fruit powers to beat him Base Batman is losing
Think it depends on Naruto's age when fighting Captain America as I think 12 years old Naruto would lose where as Hagaki (unsure of spelling) Naruto would wreck Captain America.
DanCo = Nightwing's physically one tough S.O.B.!
Every DC animated movie = Haha! Dick's shoulder goes crick-crack! :D
Good point

DC team annihilates lmao.
@@volcanicmonstrosity if you a dc fanboy you think like that, its a close fight wtf
6:17 Uncle Ben: I’m just gonna ignore that.
I love both, but I’d also like to add that, after reading a lot of red hood, especially after he becomes a vigilante again, he’s usually calm in his fights, he always seems to be thinking how to take someone down. Even having time for sarcasm, but he’s also stated he always holds back. I still think it’s a tough fight for them both, but I think ppl need to give Jason more credit. I mean he did defeat an evil Nightwing with Vampire powers in dc vs vampires, the only reason he died was because Wonder Woman came up behind him.
Please do Why Green Lantern vs Iron Man isn't even close 🤞🏿😎💯
2:46 To be fair, kevlar isn't really the strongest ballistic material out there. And even in the range of the lightweight ones, it *is* becoming outdated to UHMWPE right now as we speak.
I guess we know why they keep killing, nerfing, or humiliating him in the movies & games. He’s too close to Batman’s level!!
I can see this fight happening over Starfire.
Why? Star is (with Barbara) the main girl involved with Dick. I doubt that Jason cares in any shape or form for her, the moment that kind of linked them was only one of the many horrific decision the New 52 had. I can see them fighting for the Batman mantel, but we all know the outcome of that.
@@Shohoku00actually Jason always had a major crush on Babs when he was Robin and Dick’s mistreatment of her contributed to a lot of J’s early resentment towards him
@@ericlayton8888 I can see them clash due to that, I agree. OG comment was talking about Starfire though
I love Jason todd, aka Red Hood, and I would love him to be Batman, but Nightwing definitely beats him and you said before in the first match Dick wins both in comic and your opinion and he might win here too.
it really just comes to whose comic it is
Title "It isnt even close"
- Proceeds to explain how they are soo similar in power and fighting
Danco Dr fate and Dr stange vs scarlet witch and Raven
I personally think that we cant compare the two considering dick has gotten a lot more representation in media and comics compared to Jason, witch is why Jason seems to have a lot less feats, that's because he doesn't have more feats and has been in nightwing's shadow for a very long time. In my honest opinion i think the fight could go either way.
Don’t forget task force Z when Jason took on Nightwing, Tim Drake, and Cassandra Cain all at once and only lost because he got sucker punched while he was saving Nightwing’s life.
Doesn’t the Lazarus Pitt give you superhuman strength and speed?
Red Hood is better. I think many people forget that he is naturally peak human strength but got enhanced due to the pit. It actually increased his strength, speed, healing, etc because he had a perfect resurrection. So he is considered low super human in these levels. Nightwing may be more flexible but he isn’t faster. Only thing nightwing has is experience. Red Hood should win this fight majority of the time. If he controls his emotions he wins a fight against nightwing 9/10 times on even playing field. We actually see a version of Red Hood from a different world who mastered his emotions and is the deadliest in the bat family.
What alternate reality Red Hood is that?
@@StunningSilken I don’t remember it’s been awhile. But I also remember somewhere that Batman said something along those lines too. Jason’s weakness is always his emotions
@@OliversOil Thanks for the output.
@@OliversOil I just checked it out, now. Good read.
Honestly, the real answer is just whatever the writer wants 😂
How about the Avengers vs the Akatsuke?
bro why everytime bane is involved in a fight someone gets they back blown out
Little late to the party, but I noticed he mentioned the death of Jason and doesn't mention the year of torture done in Arkham Asylum. Are the Arkham games and events happening in that era not taken in account? The reason I ask is because the game Arkham Knight doesn't really mention Jason's death, but rather the year of torture and eventual escape and then some comics pick up with Jason and Deathstroke stealing half a billion from Bruce and fighting Robin I believe. So does Jason die during the torture and then brought back, or is that just another way the writer wrote Jason's story. Sorry if an information is wrong is misplaced, still new to comics and D.C.
if i was red hood i’d make a suit explosion proof after joker…, nvm💀
Nightwing is the big brother of the bat family. Big brothers often nurture the family, help build them up, and more importantly for this...can dunk on their little siblings anytime they want to. They don't always do it out of respect for their role, but never forget they usually can. Nightwing doesn't school red hood as much as he can because that's little bro. He wants him to feel good and have an easier life and routinely wrecking his shit wouldn't do that.
Each Robin is almost an extension of Batman imo:
Grayson: Pure skill
Todd: Pure determination
Drake: Pure intelligence
Damien: Pure-blood
Seeing Dick's feats made me realized his death in Injustice unrealistic.
This video made my imagination think that being a normal human being could be a super power
Even though I agree with the winner of this fight I like Red Hood win lose or draw happy Friday
Pretty familar with red hood but always felt it was odd when he was "in the batfamily" but didn't mind killing, those two seem exclusive to each other
Static Shock vs Miles Morales
This video emphasizes perfectly why I rarely read comics. Its like consistent logic is a joke to these writers and they just wanna make someone as strong as possible regardless of whether it makes sense.
I feel like I've seen this video years ago
Had no idea he was inspired by Superman
Jason fought Dick while Dick enhanced strength and was the vampire king. He won that fight in DC vs Vampires and only died because of an ambush from Vvampire wonder woman.
I think Red Hood is slightly enhanced strength wise due to coming out of the Lazarus pit. I can't remember though
Yes/no. Depending on which red hood we’re talking about. The pit does increase his strength, stamina, and over all physicality. See Bruce, Or ras Al for example. He does use venom in certain situations. If he’s going up against a meta human you know he’s juicing.
Who would win between nightwing against daredevil?
Daredevil
Very close but I’d say Nightwing because he can exploit the sound weaknesses. Without equipment, Daredevil
Go watch the Death Battle.
Dick would win even if it wasn't stated in the video... Dick is the older brother that is beloved and respected by ALL of his siblings... It isn't just an endearing personality that makes for a situation like that.
Suggesrion: Kim Burgess (Chicago P.D.) vs grace (Terminator: Dark Fate)
I agree
🎉
Hey!
Abilities measured by video feats:
Strength: Equal. Both have lifted heavy ass structures, such as a big rock or a roof, whilst maintaining enough control to speak.
Any type of speed/agility: Dick Grayson. Pretty understandable.
Durability: Jason. A nuclear blast is a pretty high durability feat.
Skill/BIQ: Dick. Both are skilled, but Dick measures out just because of his feats against Batman.
Attack Potency: Jason. Punching through the hole of a submarine, a vessel designed to withstand tons and tons of water forces is a pretty big feat.
Destructive Capabilities: Jason, but only because bullet holes. Doesn’t really matter anyway.
IQ: Not at all mentioned.
Feats: I mean, this is measured by feats already.
Stamina/Endurance: Dick. Desert survival without water or food is crazy.
Hax/Plot Armor: Dick.
Offense: Jason. He’s a offensive guy.
Defense: Dick. Most of his skill is centered around defense, like dodging bullets.
Extra Notes:
Both have beat the shit out of Damian Wayne.
in current comics dick grayson is batman's equal in terms of fighting and has actually beaten bruce multiple times without either of them holding back
7:07 wasn’t deathstroke nerfed in this fight?
Yeah death stroke always nerfed
@@kenshin6836 thank you.
I can’t believe people ever took Damien seriously. That character should have been refused and went out of business just like Disney these days. Don’t settle for cringe characters as your heroes.
Night wing got his acrobat stats boosted when he FRICKED Harley Quinn
Wonder who's more agile, Gambit or Nightwing (¿)
Edit: I see that I'm 4years late jajajahahaha
His redhood has also broken super girls grip
Bruce just injected his kids with nannobots
Is it just me but does any1 else recognize how much of a gangster damien Wayne is? He was raised by the demons head and batman my guy knows nothin but throwing hands
Nightwing is basically the Spider-Man of DC
bro nightwing is so tough... he died falling on a rock😂😂
Batman’s greatest success vs Batman’s greatest failure
For me, this video is totally fair, the dude has say litteraly all the points so yeah, but i think that jason is a little bite resistant just because of the nuke x)
Alfred has said that Dick Grayson is the greatest fighter he’s ever seen, perhaps even greater than Bruce himself.
