I wish that they would’ve given people more of a notification that this would be a fleet change that would be permanent. This wasn’t as obvious as let’s say the G train getting the R160s or the A Train getting the R211 because it made logical sense but out of nowhere they just change the fleet for the shuttle. I get it that the 46s are now starting to retire, but I wish they gave us more of a heads up notice. Last week it is now permanent. The 46s are now assigned to the A and C trains and they don’t run on the Rockaway Park Shuttle anymore.
Definitely enjoyed watching this. From what I heard, the Rockaway Park (S)(H)uttle train being assigned to run at least one four-car R46 train set along with the other two five-car R179 train sets is permanent as of now
@@Bklynkid52hm… interesting indeed. The fact that this circumstance follows the retirement of married R46 train A-A married car pair set #6244-#6246 is a rather strange coincidence but is a mere sign that the end of the days seeing all three R46 train sets on the Rockaway Park Shuttle is almost here

Wow! What a nice catch! And there’s two of them!
Good job bro that’s in the future I don’t know but I love the video bro. Good job on the work.
Very enjoyable, thank you. Will never get to ride this short line so watching it on CZcams is the next best thing.

Ngl I’m gonna miss the R46 when they retire
@@ricko257 I feel like the reason people were sick of them was because it was so common, but you can’t deny that they were very reliable

There’s three five car R179 sets on the shuttle now.

Did u record going back to Broad Channel ?
