      I promise i am not a spam bot and a real person. I have a personal project that i am trying to do with regard to marine bootcamp and need about 30 minutes of time from a drill instructor to discuss it. Can someone not make fun of me, disrespect me, and take me seriously?

    • @melwright5170
      @melwright5170 Před 3 lety +2

      Yes I know I am a civilian. That's the entire beauty of it. If you knew the cause and my progress you would be calling me senior drill civilian badass.
      Several other marines have called me badass already.
      But all some marines can do is be a bully, not shut their mouth and actually listen with intelligence before insulting people.

    • @melwright5170
      @melwright5170 Před 3 lety +1

      In short... I was told I would be paralyzed in a wheelchair in 10 yrs about 15 yrs ago from degenerative joint disease. At 340 pounds 5'2 35 yr old female I finished the 100m butterfly in competition, swam a mile open water, hiked 12 miles with a 50 pound pack, and now can do about 20 to 30 pullups at 150 pounds in a set and one maxed out ammo can lifts at 96.
      The weight we now know is because I cant process starch so keto was the worst diet ever for me that people were brainwashing me to do.
      My body stored every ounce of fat because I didn't absorb one calorie from starch and working out hours a day.
      Now I am losing a pound almost every day from eating low fat.
      The project is to understand the matrix in more detail and do 13 week sprints of it until I can complete most of the common fitness aspects of the bootcamp... Like the combat fitness test, maybe tan belt moves just for fitness, don't care about lethality obviously, the PT, run 1.5 miles in 15 minutes, do high low crawl, use a ninja gym to do a bunch of the obstacles, etc, drill...
      Do land nav, do a crucible like event etc.
      Keep doing 13 weeks modified until I can do it well the right way.
      I need maybe 30min to an hr with a drill instructor to make a general plan so i can at least mimick a lot of the fitness moves.
      I have seen some sops online but just want a bit more explanation to know I undestand most of the elements.
      I am not trying to be a marine I am too old.. I am trying to use one of the highest standards to become fit a lot like a female david goggins of sorts.
      Marine fitness is an extreme to shoot for. I already compete in swim competitions and would like to qualify for a national or world competition.
      Eventually i would like to join the aur force for cyber command as I am a cybersecurity professional if i can. If not i will still be very fit.

      Wish someone would be proud of me at 340 pounds daring to use marine bootcamp inspired routines to get fit... But every marine i talk to asking for an hour ot their time explaining the marine matrix in more detail and trlling me the publically available SOPs that are relevant just starts their macho routine because they get triggered that a 35 yr old female realizef her balls are about 5 times as big and much higher and found some confidence in herself...
      Any marines or drill insttuctors preferably that can not be triggered and actually help with practical real info?
      Just trying... Any maturity out there?

      Right but its a whole other situation when my initiative is sabotaged by marines when no marine can give me 1 hour of time because they are too cool for school to talk to me.
      I am dead serious. Do you know a drill instructor that could take an hour to walk through the matrix in more detail with me and tell me the SOP numbers to reference?

    • @melwright5170
      @melwright5170 Před 3 lety +1

      I am trying to put myself in your shoes to a point. But you all are too cocky to give me the info to do so.
      It takes about 1/2 hr of prep work from you and an hour call.
      Drill instructors yell at others to get stuff done and when i ask for about 1.5 hrs of time from their entire life they are more lazy as the recruits off the bus.
      Its easy to tell others to get it done... I have waited over 6 months for a drill instructor to take 1 hr of time for me.
      Its a sad time to be alive.

      (continuing) they would see the world in a different light.
      My father was a Marine during WW2, Guam. Siapan, Boughanville and Iwo Jima.
      Back then, after the war, the process was mostly: Good job Marine, you can go back to your old life. Oh, you can stop killing now. He was never the same. When I ended active duty in1970, it was mostly the same thing but after some difficult times 'I' looked at who I am and what was needed to go on.
      What I'm saying is; you can too! You know your inner strengths, use them. Don't allow others to discourage you.

      It's torture getting rid of civilian fat, a come day go day life and all its luxuries. But sooner or later a recruit realizes the importance of quick response, and a fit body able to accept whatever challenge confronts them. Amid the re-assembly of a weak civilian and construction of a Marine, is born self reliance, resiliance, strength, and the ability to quickly ascertain what needs to be done when facing the obstacles of war.

After 6 yrs in the army, combat vet that served in Iraq, even until this day, i still dont even know why i was there. I still dont know why one of my battle, a specialist, died and never came back with me.All my other brothers and sisters that sacrificed in the recent event in Afghanistan, died, for what? Is it actually for the country, or for the warmongers that's sitting in a desk with high blast AC. F these warmongers, but respect to all my brothers and sisters who fought and never came back with me. I dont regret joining the military, but i regret fighting for the rich man's war.
