Have you ever been on a Trail Ride? 🐴
I work at 12 Mile stables here in Colorado and I love trail riding. I grew up cattle ranching and decided to learn horsemanship at the tender age of 29 😂 and I can't get enough of it I have found a new passion in my life Hrapi Is gorgeous the Dudes haven't fully grown in their winter coats we have some Mare's with Cushing's that look like teddy bears haha the cutie pies.
Yea almost everyday after a ride
Yessss! I have! Looove trail riding!
Once in Switserland, with a friend of mine. Was a lot of fun. Here (the Netherlands) we can't really trailride that much.
Absolutely love it! Growing up we had lots of acreage that was connected to a Nicolet National Forest so as kids we’d disappear on the weekends lol was the best babysitter! Your horse is beautiful ❤️ thank you for sharing him with us and your scenery.
thanks for sharing beautiful
I love trail riding
Enjoy the time on this fun ride, hope you take us along again soon. Your horse seems pretty sure footed. Very beautiful. Thank you for the video.
haha yes! this is how i like to take my Icelandic out too! - bareback pad and rope halter!
Love seeing videos with your Icelandic!
Thanks!! He's such a fun horse, I'm very lucky to have him!
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Your horse is a real cutie. He's so surefooted in that environment. I once went on a trail ride during the summer in the mountains in Colorado. The stables put me on their largest horse at the time because I'm tall. He was a large Standardbred gelding. He was fun to ride.
Thanks Suzanne! Hrapi has lived in Colorado most of his life, so he is pretty much my little mountain goat out on the trail. 😆 Ooooh, fun! Which part of Colorado did you get to ride in?
@@DiscoverTheHorse I can't remember exactly. It was 20 years ago. Could have been somewhere near Breckenridge. We went all over and stayed in a different B&B each night. It was a fun trip. I'm from Texas so grew up riding quarter horses, and I later bred a few Thoroughbreds. Love all horses though.
ABSOLUTELY LOVELY! So fun to "ride with you "and your gorgeous icelandic horse! Thanks for the ride
Your horse is so gorgeous!!! Thanks for taking us along trail riding! Beautiful scenery!
Thanks so much Christina! Glad you enjoyed the ride! 😊
Jealous! Lovely! I enjoy my Icies, but we don't ride anymore.
THANK YOU!!
Great ride!!!
Your horse is marvelous & Mighty!!
Thanks for your Smile of Joy 👆👆 & taking us with you in your pocket.
Hi Alyssa! I have always wanted my own horse, and while that hasn't happened, I have had a couple wonderful horsey experiences. First was when I was a Cadette/ Girl Scout. Two years in a row,l I went on a Girl Scout horse camp. Both years we were assigned a horse to care for and ride. Each year we went on an over night camping trip. As a young adult in late 1970's and early '80s, I drove out to the unincorporated areas and rented horses. I usually rented 3 hours for the price of two. This sealed my love for horses. For the last 30+ years we have lived next to a horse arena and barn. They board horses there, we actually have 2.4 acres, but have never been able to keep a horse. A few years ago the neighbor moved into the rental the north of us. We got talking one day, I shared how I love horses and to ride them, and she shared that she didn't have enough time for her 3 horses. We struck up a great friendship for 2-3 years. I rode and cared for this one "mama', called Sadie. /she taught me how to ride and we worked the two horses next door at the arena/ barn and enjoy trail rides through an area very close to us called "Appaloosa Acres". She and her husband have moved on since. I still love seeing the people riding their horses.
He is very pretty
Aww, thanks!
I do. But it's when i was small. So, i can't wait for the new videos of this channel that i already suggest in the suggestion form. Please it will release soon.
Wonderful breed. One that I never got the chance to own.
Alyssa, how would you compare an Icelandic vs a Clydesdale personality? (size wise it's very different obviously)
gorgeous! what height is your little man?
Is an Icelandic horse a one person horse? I never see two people riding one.
