I'm so impressed with how seamless and perfect the attachments are, and the tiny painted details. Wow. A lot of figures have fantastic sculpts but the attachments etc on this are another level..

I can appreciate it, but he's a great, ugly brute, so I wouldn't actually want him!
You can tell a craftsman that has learnt the trade from scratch. I really appreciate you guys and your attention to the fine intricacies and details you notice. It is a true talent of a couple that have spent many back breaking, shoulder knumbing late night hours dedicated to the craft. Please keep it up guys and I thank you for sharing with us who can not.
That Kratos and Atreus statue is soo badass
The details on these figures are just stunning! I remember walking into a prime 1 shop in Tokyo, and was blown away by the quality of every single piece!

For $1500 and $1200 respectively, the statues should be amazing. Very impressive.
Games are $60-$70 and are hit and miss no nothing should be. Prime 1 is a amazing studio with great rep so yes we know what to expect but tons of other statue companies charge the same and aren’t close.

i've never played or been interested in a God of War game before... but these amazing statues are almost enough to do it.
@@crazycollectables i mean i was never claiming it's a "new" thing, or even that this was the first i've heard... just that it never really caught my interest for the last 20-some years.
@@tzxazrael its truly an amazing series and you should consider experiencing it. You could start with god of war 2018 and it's still a harrowing tale of fatherhood and bravery against mountainous odds, a truly astounding story that touches on the nature of life and the lengths we must go to attain our goals. Then if you are so inclined, you should checkout the Greek era games as they are a testament to brutality and the ghosts that haunt us in the name of vengeance. Some of the best storytelling in gaming and the gameplay is top notch in my opinion.

Looking at the mannequins back there reminds me of my hut in Skyrim, where I loved to stuff all armors and weapons. Great studio.

I'm barely getting into this game and can't emphasize bare-handed combat enough. It's quicker and fills the Spartan Rage meter faster.

If only I could get God of war statue's I'd get them all and you always have to go with both of them with and without the axe
The level of detail, craftsmanship definitely explains the high cost of these limited edition collectible statues like this, but pore Benny having to haul all of those heavy boxes around. If that second one weighs 27kg or 60lbs then the first one must of weigh about 40kg or 88lbs. The shipping must been immensely expensive and just curious did you have to pick up these parcels at the post office or were these delivered directly to your residence?
I dont know about Kratos' face but Baldur looks cool as shit

Great unboxing video of both these god of war statue's. I have never played god of war but for me these staues make an awesome diorma so i had to get them. I have received Baldur now just awaiting Kratos. I was a bit disappointed with the Ex symbol with Baldur as it looked better with the snow base they showed off but hey the statue itself is amazing.
Im making an extra piece for it to sit on so it looks like what they advertised as i agree that they skimpt on this part. Prime one said that is was the gaming companies request to change it but i dont believe them.
@@danhayj yer i personally dont believe that either. Fancy making 2 😁 happy to pay for it and postage as i think a base for this would make these even better.
@@stephenjohns3505 i did actually kick off as the base was nerfed which to be honest does completely ruin it and the broods green parts don't light up but when i paid for these over a year ago that's what was advertised. when i complained to prime one they said that it was never supposed to have a light up feature but Sideshow who i bought from had it listed as light up for over two years so after i complained sideshow changed the details on there website. i wouldn't mind but these are not cheap with all the postage and import tax i had to pay ( $600 ) on top ( Im in the UK ), i think i should have received what i paid for. They offered to refund me for the statue but whats the point in having Kratos without Baldur so ive kept it.
I Actually asked them if i could buy the artist proof so i could get the correct base but they said they cant sell it as its the companies property, i would have happily paid another $100 for the correct part but i think i can make a seat like i said to match if i put the time in.
@@danhayj yer i know what u mean. I also bought from sideshow and in the uk. I bought Baldur from them cause i had a load of rewards to use. Kratos i have bought from secret compass so now waiting on him. If your happy to do 2 of these bases i'd very happy to buy it.
