How to find an apartment in Germany. If you are moving to Germany or you are already living in Germany, you will agree that finding an apartment in Germany can be very exhausting...like the struggle is real.

Wow! I didn't know getting an apartment was this hard. No white goods nothing, houses stripped down to the bone. Only thing I bought when I moved into my apartment in Aberdeen was a blender, got it fully furnished . Don't you have such options?

Its really hard! 😢 Here in Germany you can get furnished apartments but they are mostly on the higher side which is why most people go for unfurnished apartment. There are also temporary furnished apartments as well but at some point you get tired of it and want to rent your on permanent space for about 2- 3 years or more depending on your contract.

When Sharing apartment, please add prices. The first apartment looks like an unfinished building. The 3rd apartment looks pricy it has a kitchen and a wonderful view

My intention wasn’t to share prices of the apartments but I’ll take note of this next time 🙂. The apartments were around the range of 1300-1600 euros for 2/3 bedrooms.
You’re right the first is unfurnished, in fact most temporary apartments in Germany are unfurnished. If you’re lucky enough you can get one with fitted kitchen which saves you the stress of buying a kitchen (which is very expensive).
For the third apartment, it had a fitted kitchen and wasn’t as expensive. The rent was around the same range as the unfurnished apartments.

Prices differ based on the number of rooms you desire and the location. For a 2-bedroom apartment with a living room, the range typically falls between 1300-1600 euros or even higher.
