Key appreciates you when you bring Sherpa over, it's so awesome, he'll play with Sherpa for a bit and then run back to the door to greet you. When Key and Sherpa get together it is hilarious.

I love it when dogs say thank you. When Sherpa realised where he was going, when Key thanks you for bringing him. We dog sit for a needy Cocker Spaniel who imprints on me when his âoneâ is gone. He always comes and thanks me with a lick for looking after him, after welcoming his owner back of course. Regardless of the palpable excitement. Such polite animals. â€ïž
Key keeps Sherpa young and Sherpa keeps Key in line. Sherpa is the best big brother to Key! They may not be blood brothers, but definitely brothers from another mother! đŸâ€ïžđŸ
Key is a very polite host, always making sure to say hello to the guests.

Just can't keep it in anymore after trying so hard to contain his excitement on the trip over (...right up to the very end).
It's amazing how he knows to back up to get a running start to get up the stairs and up to his couch. These dogs are the luckiest dogs in the world! They're so happy, and are the center of attention and so much love, and for them to have a beat friend to love and play with is amazing!

Sherpa's tail is smaller and not as fluffy as Key's. I think Key has more black inside his ears than Key. And, Malamute's muzzles aren't as long and pointy as husky's. There are other differences but who wants me to rattle on all day?
The white tip on the end of Key's tail is a dead giveaway that it's Key. Sherpa's coat is more brown but it is hard to tell them apart on my screen too.

Hi Sherpa & Jamie, & this is for K'ey & Jodie as well. I have noticed that Sherpa is now needing a step to get into the van & that during the time I have watched him age, that he is becoming a little stiffer in his movements although I may be wrong, but after having 3 Siberian huskies, I think I'm picking up the signs. Anyway, before he gets to bad, have a look online at 'ROSE HIP VITAL CANINE' & if you are happy with what you see, then try him on it. I only wish I had come across this much earlier for my last husky girl, as I only found out about it about 4 months before she died of old age at 17. But she could hardly walk before using this stuff, but after about a month on it she was walking reasonably well till she died. Its well worth it, & you could see she wasn't in anything like the pain she was for nearly a year before starting her on it. Hope that helps. All the best to you all from Australia.

@@SherpasDay I just looked up the price of synoquin, & thats expensive stuff. ROSE HIP VITAL CANINE, I think will work out to be better for him & cheaper for your back pocket, although no expense is enough for our best friends. Put it this way, the vet I was using was that impressed with the results, he actually stocks it now. Its a powder, so very easy to mix in with his food. Tell Jodie about it as well, so she can get K'ey onto it at the first signs of symptoms. The testimonials on the web site seem to be true.

I love how much joy they have visiting each other but the pain of parting is heartbreaking đ„°đ
I realized what I love about this channel: itâs all about making Sherpa a happy dog. J almost never reprimands Sherpa - and only when itâs about something that is dangerous to Sherpa or people, and the reprimand is always gentle. Sherpa is a good and smart dog, so he understands when he shouldnât do something naughty (which is VERY rare).
Also, Sherpa is NEVER reprimanded for doing normal and healthy dog things - like marking territory. J doesnât try to make Sherpa more âhumanâ, rather, he wants Sherpa to enjoy his life as a dog. Sherpa is also always encouraged to embrace his inner wolf: snarl, howl, bark - good boy!
Finally, bringing out steps so Sherpa doesnât put stress on his joints? LOVE IT! THATâS how dogs should be treated!
The longer the version, the better. Would be cool if completely filmed from beginning to end and everything captured. Love the playdates so very much. Cuteness overload.

Such happy boys! One day on lunch hour my head phones disconnected from my phone. Two of the ladies were apalled that I would watch dog fight videos( all they heard was Sherpa and Key being their growly selves.đ) Made them watch that video to show what best friends they are. Best friends, family, well they are always loud and boisterous around each other. Sherpa and Key always remind me of that. đđđ
Heres an idea for the van: Add storage underneath the seating, like a wardrobe or a pantry or something just because i saw some youtubers whose van got robbed and it would be a good place to hide and to just have more storage or even cabinets above the seating.

How everyone adores him & your mutual love & friendship. Our besties are Munchkun (brown Labrador), a mix of the same size (black w possible Lab somewhere, but he has much finer bones), & (a rat terrier to represent the larger SMALL dogs...) and Reigning Queen, Sefi! She weighs around 33-36 lbs & feels like 100 when she lies over my knee or hip!

The van is a lot higher up... even i use them sometimes haha
The floor of the van is a good 16 to 18 inches off the ground and has a wood floor so a set for hooman's and doggy's is a good idea to protect the knees and back from injury regardless of ones age.
Fair play Jamie the van looks immense considering you haven't had it that long.
