I'm loving this I grew up collecting this with my friends as a child. We loved the flesh which is juicy and we cracked the nut with large stones. We picked it wild.

What a coincidence. Just three days ago I went round my compound identifying trees and plants on google lens and I found out that one of them was the tropical almond, which google described as the indian almond. I was shocked to learn of it's medicinal properties and even made tea out of it's leaves. Mine is really tall so it is impossible for me to get at the fruits but many which have been partially eaten by birds do fall to the ground. And here I am, days later, watching someone turn it into a business. I can understand why she has turned the nut into milk though. It is extremely difficult to extract tropical almond nuts intact from the fruit and as such, it is unlikely to replace the almond until a more precise extraction method is found.

That’s very interesting. Do you live in Ghana?
@@Anaieta No, I live in eastern Nigeria. It looks like some parts of Ghana may have a similar vegetation.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Anaieta!
Hi
To those of us who do not eat animal products or sugar is this a good alternative? Does it contain sugar?
I don’t think so, since it’s all natural
