I had an overactive kid, best thing in the world is one of those classes. He will LOVE IT. Will get social skills with other kids, and you get the awesome experiences in watching him. He will probably not want to leave. 😂. Just have fun with it! No matter what happens, we will get a fun story afterwards. 🎉

Charissa - so funny about soap. My husband tells me he can’t get the soap bottle at his sink to open and references “the girls are having the same problem”. I opened his for him - it was harder than normal. Push down on the soap pump and twist just like a medicine bottle. It took a little more “push down pressure” and a little longer twisting than normal but then popped open. Good luck

Crawling is important it is important for their core. Put the walker away and just make him crawl. He knows the walker is easier and that’s what he wants.

Don’t rush him to walk! Our son was content to sit until 13 months! If you research you will find their spinal cord gets more developed the longer it takes them to walk! Our son ended up being a great athlete and more balanced because he wasn’t pushed to walk!

So your re-entry is an intersection topic. I am a retired Marine and during my time in I deployed overseas for extended periods. When they say you “come back” but you “never really come home” is so true. A non-military example of this that most everyone has seen is the last 20 min of the last part of Lord of the Rings. Everyone “at home” well their lives carried on without much difference . But when we come back from whatever shit-hole we were sent to, we often have a hard time adjusting because what our normal was, is nothing like what normal is for everyone back at home. The adjustment is difficult and sometimes we don’t ever really re-adjust, we just cope. It is hard and it takes time. People can’t understand what we went through with those Marines and Sailors we were deployed with. So when you get back and people think you can just fall in line and pretend like all is good, well it isn’t! It is hard. These are big changes in what we were used to and often times than can lead to depression and anxiety or sense of loss and failure. I have been retired for over 10 years but have never really returned to my old “normal”. I had to accept my new normal. It is a constant battle, but you learn to accept and reorient to our “new normal”

Erin, don’t wish Mac to walk to fast because when he starts to walk it gets even busier and you have to be even more attentive. Just enjoy every moment with him it will go fast. Take care

When giving dogs pills, try using pill pockets or wrapping the pill in sliced cheese. My wife and I live 30 minutes south of Ft. Worth, TX, and we've got 8 dogs, 5 of which are rescues or strays. 3 inside cats and 1 outside cat. 35 chickens, 2 pygmy goats, 4 boer goats, and 1 horse. So, I understand about dogs having accidents in the house. If the people you invite over to your ranch love animals as much as you do. Believe it or not, they'll understand the occasional dogs smell in the house.
