- 2022 has come to an end which means it's time for my top games of the year video! I played a whole lot of great games this year, and it was honestly pretty hard to try and decide which are my favorites. But in the end I think I'm pretty happy with this list. This content is so underrated. I’ve been watching you since halfway through the year and I always watch every video all the way through. I’ve found every video to be well made, edited, and scripted. I dont know why CZcams doesn’t push these to more people

Xenoblade chronicles 3 carried my JRPG addiction through half of the year
In Little Gator game, is it just me or did they not so subtly hint on adding multiplayer? Dude using the paint guns and balloons to play in this world in multiplayer would be so fun. Such a charming game.
Had a feeling what your #1 was gonna be haha. You certainly played more new games than I did this year. I still want to try out Stray and Tunic. If I had to pick a top 3 they'd be:
1. Xenoblade 3
2. God of War Ragnarok
3. Elden Ring
Honorable mention: Sonic Frontiers
A family member got me WarioWare Smooth Moves for Christmas, and it is making me realize how much I love motion controls when done right. I still haven’t picked up Switch Sports due to the lack of miis, lack of Wuhu Island, and focus on online unlockables (I am very much a single player or local multiplayer kind of guy), but when I played in the demo before the game’s release, it was so refreshing to have a new game with very polished and satisfying motion control gameplay.
Splatoon 3 is another one I haven’t played yet, but how you describe the single player makes me really excited to try it out if ever I find a sale (like I said, I’m not huge into the multiplayer, especially when it lacks a big, new exciting game mode outside of rare, timed events)
But although I did miss a lot of the big ones, the few games I did play absolutely blew me away.
Xenoblade 3 was such a fun addition to the series, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land is not only my game of the year but one of my favorite games of all time. Pokémon Legends Arceus was also such a refreshing and exciting adventure in a series that has felt stagnant for years.
I just got Elden ring and i am looking forward to completing it. but it will never replace botw. really great video btw.
Never heard of Stray before but it looks amazing. I‘m quite sad that it’s not on Switch

I know I'm so late here but God of war Ragnarok took my top spot for favorite game of all time and knocked ocarina of time down to second, which I never expected or even entertained the idea that could be possible. I will love Ragnarok for the rest of my life, just like I do most Zelda games I've played. I can't recommend it enough.

Really enjoy your videos and always have, but you're talking way too fast in this one. Feels like a rush to get through it! Hopefully you can calm yourself in future videos as I think it'll improve your audio overall.
I think I was just trying to be high energy while recording, but yeah I am talking pretty fast. I'll definitely try to make my voiceover more balanced in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
splatoon 3. i didn't see that coming!
As always I really enjoyed your video. Unfortunately I didn't really have time to play a lot of videogames this year, mostly bc of university, but there are 5 new games I played this year so here is my attempt at a top 5:
1. Bayonetta 1 - Aww, this game is just so wonderful. Bayonetta is an icon, the music is amazing and everything is just so fun and fits perfectly. Definitely my game of the year (with Bayonetta 2)
2. Bayonetta 2 - This could be my first place as well, just loved this, but prefer the bosses in Bayonetta 1
3. Bayonetta 3 - Due to my lack of time and energy I only progressed very slowly so I can't really say much bc of that. There are some things about the game I have to get used to, tho like the battle system
4. Kororinpa - This is a random Wii motion control puzzle game from 2006 that I borrowed from my friend. Well, I enjoyed it. Not much to say :D
5. Switch Sports - I played this game literally only one time. Idk, when I meet with friends to play videogames I always prefer the Wii classics like Wii Party, Wii Sports Resort, etc.
Even tho I didn't get to play a lot of videogames this year, I'm still very very very happy that I started playing the Bayonetta games, I can just recommend them to you!
Maybe 2021 was a "better" gaming year for me as I played The Great Ace Attorney 1-2, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Last Window: The Secret of Cape West and Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective which were ALL straight 10/10s tbh, but either way I got to experience very enjoyable games in both years so I'm also happy with 2022!
Omg wait, I just noticed that I forgot two very good games I played in 2022: Another Code and Another Code R. Both were very very good games!
With them my ranking would probably be
1. Bayonetta 1
2. Bayonetta 2
3. Another Code
4. Another Code R (very close to 3rd as well)
5. Bayonetta 3
6. Kororinpa
7. Switch Sports
Stray was soooo good, the Musik is on of the best soundtrack i have ever heard

A very nicely-edited list! Definitely one of the best 2022 lists I've seen so far! I can't say I care much for non-Nintendo systems, so I'm glad you kept the "other guys" to a minimum.

Xenoblade 3 is the only game who succeeded in making me cry. The story but especially the music get me so emotional

Mario strikers battle league is the worst switch game made by Nintendo. There’s no variety at all. And all for 60$!?
