Yep but iirc it was Bran who called himself that way to let us know, the readers, that's how he felt. It was one of the saddest moments of Bran.
D&D used it to call that way to a fucking king. It's ridiculous...
some thinks that Bran is the key to the whole plot, and that he is the one which made the Mad King mad and that he is the night king. Maybe that is why it is so hard for him to write his chapters, because there is a lot of the plot evolving around Bran.
I love this man
At least this franchise has a chance of being finished. One of my favorite stories will never get an ending and even if it does it won't be from the creator. RIP Kentaro Muira.
I was thinking Sansa but Bran makes perfect sense
“Too much magic can overwhelm a fantasy and really ruin it”
GRRM sums up the final four seasons of the show.
Sir-say. Everything is shattered.
Nice to know that me having a hard time reading Bran corresponds to him having a hard time writing him
that would Dave Targaryen. Cousin sister's brother of Aerys and Rhaella
Now we know why it was so difficult to write for Bran.
Living legend
This man is a genius 😍
Does somebody know there is the full interview with George?
Now this is a man with much weight in his industry. What I like about his world is that it is so wide and well developed. His characters are well rounded and his writing deals with heavy issues.
Was that a fat joke? xD
Today I learned that Cercei is pronounced "SirSay". Thanks YT recs, very cool 👍
George needs more recognition. His BOOKS needs more recognition.
Um...you do realize that Game of Thrones is literally the most popular show in the world right? If that's not enough promotion for his books, I don't know what is. I legit don't think he can get more recognition. The recognition of the entire world is kind of the limit.
@@devoutrelic1228uhm have you read his books? The tv series are well known, but his books isn't. Most people think its called Game of Thrones but t's called A Song of Ice and Fire.
I think Bran hardest character to George because he know Bran will be the king in the end that's why take a lot of his time to write this character. George want Bran to be special
He is already special. He is the key to defeat the others. But yes, i think that way too. George wants to make Bran the perfect king, and is hard to begin with being Bran a child.
Bran was the hardest to write.... well apparently he was also the hardest to shoot on screen
Yes I can tell as I dread his pov chapters
2:00 this view is what makes his works great
Varys and Littlefinger were the most complex characters for me. Sansa is developing very subtly .
Neither Varys nor Littlefinger are POV characters in the books though. It's been a while since I last read them, but I'm fairly sure.
he George ovbiously finds all characters hard to write because since 2011 we still waiting for the new book
Wim Diddy were dance and dragons part one and two released separately ? And also with storm of swords ? Or were the parts one and two published at the same time
@@fredbarker9201 they were released at the same time.
CallmeJochem so why split them in two? Were they going to be too big, even bigger than clash of kings? It would have made more sense from a marketing point of view to release parts one and two at different points
@@fredbarker9201 they'd have been 1300 pages if combined into one book so two books just made more sense
Fucking love this show
Martin is the greatest writing mind in history he is a genius
Is that host on LSD?
its like GRRM and D & D were writing an exam and GRRM was so long with his Bran answers that D & D just got lazy to copy bran answers
G R R Martin lives through all age ranges and generations simultaneously.
That makes a lot of sense.
