    *THE TWO MOST COMMON QUESTIONS FROM THIS VIDEO* :
    - What time do you go to bed? Usually 10pm, but I do get quite sleepy by 9:30pm
    - Why wake up early if you just watch YT? This is just one day, most of the time I will be editing, emailing, getting ready to film, etc., but sometimes I just watch CZcams videos because I just truly love waking up early (that's why I said I'm one of those people). Also, since John is working from home in the living room at 6:30am (on the phone) I can't be making too much noise, so waking up early makes it so I have everything I need by the time he starts.

      I wake up at 6am and always sit and watch a YT video while I have my lemon water! I always wake up really nauseous, and I find taking 10-15 minutes to sit and chill really helps my body get used to being awake.

      I wish i was. I went to bed at 7:30 and surprisingly fell asleep. I expected to wake up at 6 or 7 but no i slept until 10:15!

    I used to be such a morning person (not quite at this level but I would naturally wake up by 7am) and now I just can't and I wish I could go back to it because I'm still not a night owl so I'm like a 4pm person now haha

      so what normally works for me, is to have one day where I just sort of over work myself, do a bunch of stuff and just get yourself to the point where you want to go to bed early. then make sure to set a timer for a bit earlier than I want to get up. and sort of force myself to get up at that time. right now, no matter what time i go to be I'm waking up at 6am. It sucks on my days off when I just want to sleep in, but its nice knowing I have a morning. If you aren't back to work or are a student, I would suggest trying to force a more consistent schedule so you don't feel like staying up super late and have things to do in the morning.

    tips for sleeping with wavy/curly hair & refreshing it the next day!
    -sleep with a bonnet! it helps reduce friction so much and cuts down on frizz while preserving your hair texture, especially if you're an erratic sleeper!
    -silk/satin pillow cases! also helps reduce frizz and is recommended for wavy/curly hair
    -buy a product meant for 2nd day refresh! i use not your mothers curl refreshing foam and it helps so much with reviving my hair after sleeping!
    -use a small amount of oil to help with frizz & smooth out your hair! i use jojoba oil for literally everything
    as someone who had literally no idea how to preserve my 2nd day waves/curls, these tips have helped so much!

      Megan Giunta Thanks for the tips. 🙏 At the moment all I do is shower at night and then wrap a micro fiber hair towel around my head and sleep in it (the twist action makes the waves and the as the hair dries it sets). My waves come out pretty damn good from just that alone but if I want to make my hair look good on day 2, 3 etc I’ll have to try your suggestions. 😊

    I wake up at 6am, drink a glass of water, 💩, and then go for a 5 mile run every morning... I'm not a "morning person", but that 100% wakes me up and gets my day off on a good note! I'm so much more productive compared to when I don't do my routine. Can relate. ♥️

    I sleep with my wavy hair up in a ponytail but with a scrunchie so that it doesn’t mess up my waves. You should also try sleeping with a silk pillowcase. It will help with the frizz :) Usually I use a diffuser though. Depends on how much time I have in the morning or just how I feel like doing my hair. Have you ever tried using a diffuser yet?

    I hate making my bed because I have a bunk bed so I need to reach over and it hurts my back so bad. Plus I almost always bump my head.

    I'm not a morning person but i don't like doing my work in the afternoon/night, so I wake up early too, to get my work done in the morning/afternoon.
    Also, I have curly hair so i sleep with a bonnet, that way it doesn't get flat and frizzy but you can also try sleeping with the pineapple hearstyle, that may help mantain the waves.

    I loooove your natural hair!! I have frizzy ass wavy/curly hair and I usually will either pigtail braid my hair at night before bed or put my hair in a silk sleeping bonnet. Also100% silk pillow cases are a savior for curly hair!!

    I would love to start doing this. My current schedule is completely whacked. My zoom classes start at 8:30--imagine working out, showering, and eating breakfast before that! Even working out at all would be good...
    I have the same coffeemaker! I love it so much. Have you ever tried making overnight oats? You make them the night before and put them in the fridge, so of course they are cold when you eat them. I just use a basic recipe--oats, plain yogurt, milk, dried fruits, a little coconut, vanilla, and honey. You should try it!
    I also like how you give things a little time to "air out." Let the bed air out for 30 min before you make it, let the workout clothes air out before you put them in the hamper.

    From someone who has wavy/curly hair. Always sleep in a loose bun or ponytails and put on a night cap. I shake my hair and fluff up my roots. That’s what I do at night or I do braids. But there plenty of wavy hair ppl doing videos on that’s topic.

    Get a silk pillow case (helps keep frizziness at bay!) and do the hair pineapple! You pile it on top of your head LOOSLY and then plop it up there and tie it up LOOSLY with your hair band. I usually only do a double twist with my band

    A tip with crunching wavy hair: I use gel instead of mousse. It’s less crunchy and a dime sized amount, with some hair oil, works on my hair (which is like two inches longer than yours). Mousse used to give my hair that crunch occasionally, but it rarely happens with gel! 😁 (don’t use too much or your hair will be oily and gel-like greasy all day) hope this helps!!
    I discovered I have wavy hair a few years ago, also thinking my whole life I had straight and weird hair, like you said in ur wavy hair video, and have since learned my favorite ways to style it!
    Also, I love waking up early too, but need an hour to really wake up as well 😂

    I have fine wavy hair and have started just putting it in a high pony overnight using a soft scrunchie. It’s an easy way to somewhat protect my hair at night! Excited for your wavy hair video 😊

    You are simply PRECIOUS Alexa! Absolutely love watching this video. Made me laugh, smile, feel happy, as well as a notch up in being motivated and inspired! LOVE those bike shorts!!! I love it when I'm an early riser, it's so rewarding and satisfying. Also love seeing what you do to remain awake after you've woken up. Sometimes I wake early no problem, other times I try but the intended wake time doesn't end up working as planned- often still waking reasonably early, but not AT the targeted wake time... Feel free to consider doing a vid on tips tricks and strategies on HOW you actually wake and what works for you- anything from how you prepare the night before, and particularly the actually WAKING and getting OUT of the bed.     I'm new to the wavy/curly hair style myself. I was told to wear a silk cap or silk pillow case to avoid the frizz from sleeping. Also I use a t-shirt to dry my hair after washing it. These have really helped me. Hope they help you 😊

    To sleep with curly hair, I use a satin bonnet and twist my hair in small sections. Pin it all up, put on your satin bonnet (or you can use an old tshirt) and sleep! 🙂 You can also try using some good product, brad mondo has some pretty good affordable products called xmondo that work great for curly hair! 😊 Hope that helps! ❤️ Have a beautiful day!

    With the hair- you’re right, putting water to dampen it in the morning is what you have to do! I have tight curly Afro hair, and I spray it with a water bottle in the morning. Sleeping on it smushes it so I have to wet it in the morning and then lightly pick it out and fluff it! ❤️

    You should look into satin pillowcases or satin bonnets !!! They really help your curls stay more intact it also helps to prevent breakage while you sleep.

    idk if anyone has said this yet or not, like responded to what you asked about sleeping on curly/wavy hair. A silk bonnet is amazing for your hair or silk pillow cases either works if you don't wanna flatten out and frizz your curls/waves

    I'm a morning person myself. 🌞Always have been. I like the peace of the morning and knowing that the day ahead holds so much potential. If you really want to embrace your waves/curls try the curly girl method. Sierra Schultzzie made some great videos on doing just that. She's a real cutie patootie and spent years straightening her hair. Now she has these beautiful waves and curls. Of course I envy those of you that have naturally curly hair. 😉 This video was so different from the usual but I really liked it. You could feel that peace of the early morning in your video. 👍👍 Totally enjoyed. ❤😊

    I’m sure someone already said this but for curly hair I know you’re supposed to sleep on a silk pillow or with a silk bonnet thing in your hair. They also recommend putting it in a lose “pineapple” at the top so that you don’t lay flat on the outside part of your hair. This works depending on how long your hair is tho. I used to do it and it helped but then cut my hair kinda short and stopped and I could probably do it again by now but I just got used to not doing it

    I genuinely loved this video!! It was really inspiring tho 🤩 I wake up at 8 am for college (online bc of corona) but I ran out of time every day due all my classes and the lectures, essays , etc (I went crazy and took 6 classes🥺).     You should try silk pillow cases for your hair it actually will help keep that bed head under control. The natural properties of silk, including its smooth surface, can help reduce friction on your hair which often causes damage, like spilt ends. It’s the best thing for curly/wavy hair

    I am NOT an early person lol. I mean, I wake up at 7 am, but I don’t want to😂 I always feel more productive in the evenings for some reason. On another note, it’s so awesome that you found out your hair is wavy! I’m 16 and I just found out a few months ago that I have super curly hair. I always kinda knew, but because I was brushing my hair out every day I couldn’t really see the full effect. Also, hope your toe gets to feeling better🥺💕

    I also have a fear of insomnia! Twins. I have curly hair and when I wash it at night I put on a cotton hair wrap which I take off right before going to sleep. When I don't wash my hair, I usually get it a little damp in the shower, scrunch in some hair serum, and then go to sleep. Then in the morning I either put it up or fluff it around :)

    I love your wavy hair! Now since my hair is long enough I can put my hair in a loose bun on top of my head with a scrunchie by only putting it through one and a half times its supposed to preserve the curls (some people call it a "pineapple") and fall asleep like that. By only putting it through one and a half times its supposed to preserve the curls. Not sure if it's been working, but I do like my hair being out of my fave lol.
    Before it was long enough I tied it up in a hair scarf that's made of satin or silk to keep the hair from getting flattened. There are a whole bunch of videos on it. I recommend watching Tabitha Gingerich because has a lot of videos about wavy hair.

    I go to bed at like 12-3 am usually. I get about 5-6 hrs on a school day and when I can sleep in I get the usual 7-9 hrs. I've always been a night owl even since I was little

    A natural spider repellent is peppermint oil with water sprayed over your bedding. Also citrus oils are good to.

    For my curly/wavy hair, I sleep with slightly damp hair and lift my hair up on my pillow instead of sleeping on it so it gets volume instead of flat waves. Also, maybe a satin hair bonnet or pillow case will help.

    I don't have wavy hair, so Idk if it will work the same, but I sleep with my hair in a pineapple! The secret is to let it down the next morning and move around a bit to let your hair fall naturally instead of trying to manipulate it with water.

    I also like to get up early, but my husband doesn't! Luckily he is a deep sleeper. I can literally blow dry my hair 10 feet from him and he won't wake up. I could never, lol.

    My hair is very think and I cut it off a few years ago but now I'm growing it out again. My hair can be extremely wavy so the best thing I've learned is never sleep with it wet and if its super hot out always have a hair tie or hat ready because it gets extremely frizzy

    Get a stain bonnet. You can find it on amazon . You just flip your hair upside down and put in the bonnet and go to sleep. Mine does not come off, but I can adjust mine to fit my head. Or get ouchless hair ties and do a high ponytail and go to sleep. Look up the curly girl movement on CZcams

    Affirmations, gratitudes, and plan day
    Get changed
    Workout
    Get changed again to school clothes
    Make breakfast
    Study, assignments, or read, while eating
    Pack school stuff
    Do hair & skincare
