- Eurobeat brings an atmosphere to Initial D that just represents the authenticity and sticks true to what made the original anime good in the first place. In my opinion, the video has the atmosphere, close to the original anime, and shows that the producers of Initial D Legend should have gone through the effort of getting the rights to using the original Eurobeat songs.

At first, he went home cuz he was sleepy and wasn't even racing Keisucc
While in the official race, he went straight home cuz he had a date for the next day

Déja Vu
The pairing of Eurobeat and Initial D is simply one of the best scorings for a tv show/movie ever. Initial D would not have half the energy it does without eurobeat and eurobeat would be extremely unknown if it wasn't for Initial D. There is no comparison the the chilling organ that creeps into the battle between Kesuke and the Foot/Hand (cant remember) as they approach the turnaround point and both go for the drift instead of letting the other go first. The music is so integral to the energy and hype of this show, goddamnit its too good.

Nakazato might be my favorite race in Initial D. There was no pre-battle drama, no outside threats, genuinely just a dude who wanted to pit his GT-R against Takumi's 86. When he loses, he isn't butthurt, he isn't moody, he isn't whiny; he genuinely is like "damn that kid really is an incredible driver". He flat out concedes that Takumi is just... better than him.
THAT. Is a true sport.

And despite it I believe it’s still one of the more underrated animes
this isn’t the show though it’s the legend movies. they changed takumi’s personality to appeal to the western audience. he’s not as calm and quiet as his is in the anime.

I will say the music that the Initial D Legend has is still pretty good. But when you listen to the classic Eurobeat it's just amazing seeing the cars battle each other downhill while you're bopping your head up and down to the music. Eurobeat just makes the anime 10x better watching and listening to.

At least Initial D Legend Battle Digest gave us the Battle Stage that we all deserve because it officially came out with Eurobeat.

当時、リッジレーサーていうPSのゲームがあって、それがBGMにテクノミュージックを使ってた。結構人気があったゲームだから知名度は高かった。
多分それに着想を得て頭文字Dのアニメ製作者もユーロビートを使ったんだと思う。

Well, it's understandable that a Japan-made anime would want to use their own homegrown music as it's soundtrack. Especially since Japan had already grown past the time where they have to rely on western music to make their anime popular worldwide.
Though unfortunately for Avex. Eurobeat and Drifting are Initial D/MF Ghost souls, they can't replace it. And both the oversea AND their own Japanese audience agrees.

I know AVEX has been removing Initial D/Eurobeat content from CZcams but since they have uploaded official lyric videos of Initial D Eurobeat tracks like 2 years ago, some Initial D content from the community has not been axed and seeing this video warms my heart. Been an Initial D since forever. It is the reason why I became a car enthusiast and pursued Mechanical Engineering. Initial D is forever linked with Eurobeats as it should be. Thankfully, MF Ghost is still honoring Initial D as they are using Eurobeats based on the teasers. Anyways, keep this up and good day to you sir.

Has anyone noticed how at the exit of every corner, keisuke always go just a a tiny bit wider out of the turn compared to takumi. Very small difference but that resulted in keisukes front tires wearing out more compared to takumis.
its also wearing out since takumi uses less countersteer when exiting and keisuke goes full angle when exiting
He wears out all four of his tires he has a lot more angle while drifting compared to takumi

Initial D is one of the most intense things for me man. I remember seeing this when I was young, around when F&F1 came out. I got into cars. I did touge runs. Now going back and watching it makes my eyes water cause it's like damn bro I was kinda there
This legendary piece of art will always be my Top 1 anime.
So back in the Kazaa days I was searching for Japanese music after falling in love with the Two-Mix songs from Gundam Wing, came across some Initial D stuff, burnt the best of it onto a mix cd and just loved it. Still haven't seen much of thew show but the music has had me for a long time.

Eurobeat is mostly made by italians for japanese tho. Dave Rodgers(real name Giancarlo Pasquini) of "Deja Vu" is italian for example and "Ace" is too.
