What a fantastic presentation! I have always enjoyed the "flatterers" bolgia because it was just so....visual and perfect. But I never understood why Dante paired them with the Pimps/seductresses in the canto. Dr. Felch does an excellent job explaining the "contrapasso" of the the sins. And she is JUST SO AWESOME in describing...well...Sh*t. Brava!
At the risk of being considered a flatterer, I have to say that I'd really enjoy a Full Series about Dante's Divine Comedy with Professor & Dr. Felch. Her deep, multi-layered analysis and overall presentation is refreshingly thought-provoking. And she's the best lecturer of this series.

I don't understand the comments about swearing. It's not really a personality choice; she's quoting the Canto. My translation also has a swear word at 116.
