I have every one from the Pro Slim Collection and when I heard about and saw the new Slim line, my mind was like "there is no way i'm going to buy them". Even though I'll wait and see your comparison video, I still think that they're not worth it. I'm running out of storage space, for me to go buy spin offs of things that I already have. Like always I loved the video and the makeup so thank you for trying this for us!
I glad they continued with their bigger palettes even though they are now just called Slim palettes. In terms of cheek products I will wait for the Essence spring launch, because I just saw the images of those surfacing on IG and there seems to be some CT dupes with blush and highlighter wands included within the products.
😮The new palettes look gorgeous!!! The pink and the coral one especially. I wanna try those 😊 same f the new liners and liquid shadows. I have coloured P. Louise bases that are too thick and pigmented to do lighter looks. These look more ethereal. The blushes look good too. Very fun spring /summer release

I like the idea to do a video comparing the old pro slim to these new slim palettes. Colourpop had a supershock shadow called Bill, that I loved but can't find a dupe for. Bill was special for me bacause it was cool tone mauve, satin, and with a soft blue flip. All other mauve cream shadow I found were mat, and warm. I might try this combo of the pink/laverder tube with the highlighter, unless you have a better suggestion?
Hm I think you might like Sidney Grace Winter Garden. It sounds like the shadow you are describing: cool toned mauve/ purple with an iridescent shimmer.

That explains it…. I watched your last video of new Essence products and went to look for them on the USA site and not there; so I guess it is only released in Europe! 😢😢😢😢
Hi Maaike I like a liquid shadow and I like pastel shades, so those are worth a try. The corresponding liners are fun and normally their liners wear well. The highlighter is maybe worth a try as an eyeshadow topper- a gateway to multichromes perhaps? Otherwise I don’t need the blush or lip stuff tbh. The pastel lavender and pink in the eye stuff is pretty and I would wear them in the Spring or Summer. Best wishes x

Ok..i know im sounding weird now, but without ANY product whatsoever...you have gr8 eyes!!! Fantastic shape and kinda rounded on the bottom! The darkness contrasted with the undertones of your complexion is absolutely perfect..i know u say you're cool toned, but you have a bit of yellow/ olive on camera. Looking regal Mikka👑! So funny how Catrice is so discounted here in USA and a bit more expensive in EU.
No I am cool toned for sure! It's the lighting in this video that makes me look more warm toned and I have lots of plants and green things in my home, which gives my videos a slight green hue. But that's not my skintone.

Hi Maaike, just catching up with your recent videos! God, the idea of “re-doing” the slim palettes is a total miss… And yes, I agree, very cheap looking. Also, nothing too exciting about colour stories either! The things that sparked my interest are definitely liquid shadows and liners. Usually I’m all in for their lip products but these don’t appeal to me. I would love to see them make some new range of bullet lipsticks maybe. Anyway, I like the look you did with these products, very spring-ish. I was also surprised to see an update from them so early, I thought they and Essence used to release spring/summer products in February… Have a great day! x
They just changed the bullet lipsticks last year. I don't expect anything new in that department until fall/ winter this year or possbily spring/ summer 2025.

Uh! The primer does remind me a lot of the primer from Natasha Denona HY-GEN. I truly hope the eyeliners, the highlighter and the blushes come to the USA 🤞🏻 Really like the eye look but i am not a liquid eyeahadow person. 😊

There were loads of purple/ pink highlighter out a couple years ago. If you can't find this, I am sure that there is something similar out there.

Shake the blushes next time before use
Oils don't dissolve and mix if you shake a product. It's better to squeeze it out.

The liquid shadows were pretty okay until I put the gloss on top. The gloss made it crease nearly instantly.
