@isLAndACkeE3 thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it
@@26acresoutdoors.. relocated to Mass and will be watching more of your vids. I’ve only been Deep Sea fishing so far, but now. Much respect. Keep posting
@isLAndACkeE3 Great thank you again! Yes I'll be posting more videos soon. I've been a bit behind with my adventures 🤣🤣
Nice! Can you share the exact location? Looks like a nice spot for my 7 year old.
@alexisd2587 across the street from Galesferry School there are little dirt makeshift parking areas there are 3 of them if one is full. Then just walk straight down to the tracks. Anywhere there left or right of the big green channel marker is good. You will be hooking up for sure. I stay away from being directly in line with the channel marker my kid gets snagged over and over. Me too actually lol. It is rocky so when you hook up crank like crazy to keep them out the rocks. Thanks for the comment and good luck. Keep me posted how you guys make out if you go!
@@26acresoutdoorswhat size hooks did you use and were they circle hooks?
@Hooking.Hammer the for porgy they were #2 beak hooks
@@26acresoutdoors what about the sharks? i’ve really wanted to catch a shark
@Hooking.Hammer those little sharks aka dogfight we were catching will get hooked on those little porgy hooks which come pre rigged. . For bigger real sharks much larger hook. I will be getting into shark and tuna fishing offshore next year. I'll be studying up this winter. So not to familiar for any advice for larger species yet.
Nice catch , where is the location?
Thanks! Also thanks for watching and the comment! That spot is in Gales Ferry CT across from the school by Stoddards Park. Park in the dirt pull offs and just walk down to the railroad tracks. Lots of places to fish and good fishing!
What part of ledyard, by rt 12,?
Over by Stodards Wharf the section across from the school. Had good luck there. Let me know how you make out! Thanks for watching and the comment!
That looks like a river why r there saltwater fish there like scup
@cmsaa2254 it is a river it's the Thames River in Connecticut it's brackish water so it's a mix of salt and fresh. The further down you go the closer to the ocean so the saltier it gets. Where I was fishing is about halfway up and pretty salty. Thanks for the comment!
