Elīna Garanča: The Cultural Attaché Interview SD 480p

Craig Byrd of Cultural Attaché talks to mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča about her career, the role she most wants to play and whether or not she agrees with the legendary Christa Ludwig who once said, "Opera is an impossible art - if you can say it is an art at all."
The conversation also touches on artists and politics (specifically as it relates to classical music artists and the situation in Ukraine) and whether political correctness will destroy art.
It's a fascinating conversation with this very talented woman.
