Just relocated from San Jose, Ca to Wake Forest and here are my thoughts: You have to wait to make a right turn @ red lights, no shoulder. Bike lanes aren’t broken to turn right. People go 5mph below speed limit although speed limits are faster than CA. Yellow lights are long. Don’t expect to make time up on road, no ones in a hurry. Expect to wait for lights to turn green again, as again no ones in a hurry.
Is CZcams's algorithm off kilter? I watch a lot of these dashcam videos, and today I've had 1 suggested. Much of the rest is stuff I rarely, if ever watch.
@@BadDriversOfNorthCarolina I like the videos that are 8-12 minutes long, personally. They don't usually get interrupted by too many ads. There may be one at the beginning and the end. Occasionally one in the middle, but not often.
2:07 mark has made me almost want to move and leave the state. North Carolinians have completely blocked out the yield sign in their minds like it doesnt exist.
Show those morons who pass you coming off an on-ramp trying to beat you to get onto the highway... who then try to pass you as you move over to get into the express lane. If brains were gasoline most drivers around Charlotte couldn't get a moped halfway around a nickel.
It can’t be worse than the Raleigh area. However, I haven’t been in the Charlotte area yet! I feel I’m going to get into an accident on the highway or near one.

People just don’t use turn signals but they should because that actually saves lives on the road.
So many drivers here make unexpected turns. Is it so hard? It’s next to the steering wheel.

I didn’t know that yield means speed up. I always thought that you let the driver already there through 🤦♂️
