Akagera National Park is the only protected area in Rwanda with the big five animals and over ten water bodies including Lake Ihema, the second biggest lake in Rwanda. This Savannah Park attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
Besides having rich wildlife, there are people who work day and night to make Akagera one of the most attractive tourism destinations in Rwanda. Among them is Denyse Umugwaneza, who has worked as a tour guide for over 13 years.
