the reason they are going to put the paris soundtrack back is because of small world 60th aniversery wich will be in 2020 but they will put it in early and they will never put back the 1964 soundtrack ever. thats what i was told by the disney corperation

The 2 soundtracks I like best are 1964 or 1966 Music and the 1992 Euro Disney Music, even though I pretend this EuroDisney Soundtrack from 1992 is from the fake Canadian Version of It's A Small World!
Well they've used the 1964 World's fair version since 2005 and unless they are changing something during its refurb going on right now, the 1964 version is returning.
I agree with everyone. I really like the Paris soundtrack A LOT better and I think the original one is boring. However, there are probably some park guests who would prefer the original one since it's classic, so how about playing each soundtrack every other day, i.e., they play the Paris soundtrack on Sunday, the original one on Monday, they go back to the Paris one on Tuesday, then they back to the original one on Wednesday, and so on.
I don't think the Paris Soundtrack is ever coming back to Disneyland Anaheim, at least not in the near future. Paris still uses its original ride music but now uses the area music from Disneyland Anahiem
have you ever noiced that even though California reverted back to the '64 soundtrack on the ride, they still play the instrumental of the Paris version in the esplanade between the two parks (wexccept at Christmas of course)

+The Travel Master This is because the ride is located in Japan so Tokyo version of It's a Small World Holiday has the Japanese lyrics, Japanese version of Jingle Bells in the Asian sequence (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, India, Japan, and Korea), and Japanese Deck the Halls in the finale scene. Both are mixed with its Japanese standard theme.
Could anyone who is going to Disneyland ask a cast member if the Paris soundtrack will return next year? If the cast member doesn't know, could you ask him or her who to contact? Greg Yokota, maybe you could do this since they're doing It's A Small World Holiday and not that boring 1964 soundtrack.
