Thats way better than an ATEM mini with 4 ports. Having the screen built in is a big leg up over the blackmagic design units. Love that there are 2 additional outputs in addition to the built in screen. Nice! A lot of things to like. I also noticed that you have control over the built in fan which is also a nice option.

1:50 HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) is a digital copy protection system designed to prevent unauthorized copying of digital audio and video content as it travels across connections like HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI. A HDCP video signal refers to the audio/video content that is encrypted and protected by the HDCP technology. Here's how it works:
1) HDCP encrypts the digital audio/video content at the source device (e.g. Blu-ray player, streaming device) before transmitting it.
2) The source device then performs a "handshake" with the receiving device (e.g. TV, projector) to verify that it is HDCP-compliant and authorized to receive the encrypted content.
3) If the receiving device is HDCP-compliant, the source device sends the encrypted HDCP video signal, which the receiver can then decrypt and display properly.
4) If the receiving device is not HDCP-compliant, the source will not send the video signal or it will be severely degraded, resulting in no picture or audio.
So in essence, a HDCP video signal is the protected digital audio/video content that has been encrypted by the source using the HDCP protocol to prevent unauthorized copying or playback on non-compliant devices. This content protection is mandated by content providers like movie studios to allow playback of high-definition copyrighted material.
Does that mean you cant use this to record a live band?
@@BBTB600 no i dont think it means that. It means people cant use this equipment to record exiting materials (such as blue-ray) that have a certain code embedded in the signal. If the equipment mfr doesnt enforce the rules, they dont get to license the usage of hdmi (which is a for-profit consortium).

Hey ATS PRO, how do you upload picture for the background on a MacBook Pro for SPROLINK r2plus? You explained how to add picture background steps for the prior version of SPROLINK. Thank you
You can transfer the files via a web browser or by inserting a thumb drive into the USB port. When you do this, R2 will automatically create a folder for graphics.
Add the photos to this folder and then connect to R2.

Great demonstration! There's a picture in picture mode, but is there a way to combine three HDMI inputs into one output stream with that? Like having one HDMI input take one half of the screen, and two a quarter each?
The R2+ has 2 video layers and a background layer for a still image.

Hey ATS PRO, I have 2 questions. 1.How do you load up pictures on the SPROLINK PLUS, because I tried to upload jpeg pictures, and go to MEDIA, IMAGE and press the + blue Sign and click, and it says NULL. Is there a special USB kind to use to upload pictures? 2.And also, for the PTZ camera, I can see myself on the screen but the joystick is not working. How do you work this device? Your help would be so appreciated.

Hello please help, when I connect my camera in the switcher and record from the camera. It shows the camera rec logo, battery and storage everything in the footage when I export it in usb. Any help ???
This sounds like a OSD setting in your camera.
How do you add graphics, example speakers name plus subtitles, scrolling texts etc?
There is a feature coming for a lower 3rd, But I have not seen it yet. Until them, I use a mac plugged into one of the HDMI inputs and I do my titles in keynote and I key the lower third with the Down Stream keyer.

I’m trying to figure out what kind of cables should I use on my MacBook Pro to import videos and pictures to the switcher? I’m new to this guys.
You can transfer images through the network cable or use a USB drive. You can also bring up the mac as a video source using HDMI out to the HDMI input on the R2 plus. Finely if you want to record the R2 on your mac use a USB C cable and bring it up in the QuickTime Player as a USB camera.

Which PTZ cameras are you using? And is the device loud? I saw a review that said it was loud. We'd be using it to record podcasts. The host of the show would sit at the switcher.

You can add your own PNG files as logos or them as a background or as a video source in a layer.

@@ats-pro It's like that. But what if I need to place different images on different layers? For example, background - 1 image, layer 1 - signal from the camera, layer 2 - image 2 - title of the program or full-screen photo on the topic. You can't do all of this - only one image can be loaded. Just like the logo. What if I need to put a signature on the person in the frame with their name? Then only a logo or signature. And again, the picture under the logo is small, not full frame. It is not comfortable. You have to load it all from the HDMI input. But it would be possible to adapt if the pictures were loaded quickly, without many button presses. This all takes time and reduces quality. There is a solution ?
@@ats-pro Yes thank you. It’s clear how to upload images. But here’s the problem: while I can change the logo relatively quickly during the broadcast, this does not happen with image pictures. You need to do a lot of things that you don’t have time for during the broadcast. For now there is only one way out - connect media files via the HDMI input. But then compactness is lost: you need either a laptop or a media player or something else. And besides, there is one less camera. In short, it's inconvenient. Do you have any contact with the developers? It would be nice if they took this point into account in future firmware. I know that similar devices have implemented this point - say, up to 10 images can be quickly changed in the device pool.

R2plus can do chroma for each input. You can try to set chromakey on from menu.
I believe You should have one hdmi input as background.

How you connect the pc. how you import logos or videos
You can utilize a USB-C connection to link the R2+ with your PC for webcam functionality. Additionally, connect your PC to the network to access the R2+ web page and API for controlling the device. Lastly, link your PC to the HDMI input on the R2+ to employ it as a video source.
You can load the logos either through the web page interface or by inserting a USB drive into the R2's USB-A port. The R2+ automatically generates a logo and background folder for this purpose. Follow this link to access a tutorial by Aron.

Does it work with Ecamm on desktop?
If eCam can bring in a web Camera source it should. I am going to my studio later and give it a try.
How do I get to the webpage. It’s a little confusing to find it. What are the steps to get to it?
The easiest is to go to the network settings and set the R2 to DHCP and the reboot it. When it starts back up. Go to network settings and get the IP address.
Hook up your computer to your network and type in the IP address in your we browser. This will show the R2 webpages

Второй момент - я так и не понял как подключиться к Tally, у меня есть AVMATRIX, со входом type c, но как я не пробовал - сигнала так и нет, производитель мне ничего не ответил по этой системе, и в интернете не нашел информации… если кто может подсказать - буду благодарен 🙏🏽

Does it over heat ?
I have not had any issues with this. I guess it would depend on the environment. You can adjust the fan speed to accommodate different situations.
