  • Yes this is the real deal and a real pie lol and it was gorgeous
    I used Tesco light puff pastry from the chilled section and it is 4.5 syns per 25g raw (verified at the point of making this video) but as always check syns to protect your losses.
    You can however reduce the amount of pastry you need by using a different pie dish or an individual casserole pot.
    Using the pie dish i used the pastry was 9 syns for half the pie but when i plated up it actually made 3 servings.

    Hi Jules, great recipe never though of doing this way. I usually put meat in slow cooker with anything else I fancy cooking, let go cold put in fridge then next day put in dish with the pastry on top. Def going to try this easier and faster thank you x

      Hi hun i would normally make pie in the same method as you also as to be honest it is the best way but this was part of a feature on my website of cooking a chicken and creating 4 different meals so i had cooked chicken leftover to use and it worked a treat. This one is definitely worth making hun we loved it xxx

    Little tip hun, weight watchers wraps I use to make a pasty. I'm sure you could use it at the crust on top also!

      oooh yes i have done that in the past hun and it really does work, maybe now im back on plan 100% i remake a pie using a wrap lol fab idea hun thanks for the memory jog xxx
