That was awesome, takes balls to ride that fast in open country with wildlife loose. Love how both of them ride on the balls of their feet with toes pointing in and knees locked. Loved the sound.

Any idea what gearing they are running to hit those speeds? I set up a ‘22 500exc to go across Africa with and could hit 180km/h with a 15/50 with an uncorked ecu

I laughed when i saw them on the balls of there feet i used to run offroad skills coaching and the amount of shit i got from trying to teach and i do mean trying to teech gumbys to move there feet on the pegs and ride on the balls of your feet in the rough was nuts 20 years ago . It's a shame that buggies and trucks race Finke. It seemed like a good idea back in 1987 to introduce four wheels to race but in the long term it's been a liability. The same with having 500 plus bikes on the track. My view may not be popular but I think 300 riders max and no heavy vehicles would be ideal. That said, these riders are amazing.

i honestly dont think you were going 175 kph in the video where they were driving beside you, thats 109 mph and you were hitting whoops and jumps etc…looked more like 80-90mph to me which is still insanely fast over that rough terrain. the bike just wont go 109 mph unless you are literally on pavement and even then i would be surprised…also will that Toyota truck even go 109 mph? 😂
