Pink all day
On the colors, if I got a strat, it's easily yellow for me. The 333s only had the one option anyway, but if I had the choice I'd have gone natural. The fact that I honestly can't choose between any of them because they're all so good says a lot about the color options here

Got my shell pink preorder in and I can’t wait! Ny sweetwater rep threw in a gig bag for me too!
One of my friends might be getting gold and we’ve talked about switching the hardware so god with black and the pink with chrome. I think that’ll look really good for both.
I did see that the Gator deluxe case GW335 fits starcasters if people need a hard case and don’t want to wait also!

I've been saying since the rumor speck sheet was circling that it should have been gold/black, pink/silver, white/silver, green/black.
Taking in account the quality of product we're getting from Indonesia, it is no surprise that Fender decided to build the Starcasters there. If you look at the build quality of factories like Sire and Cort, Indonesia is nowadays one of the best countries for production guitar making.
Indonesian made stuff is on par with made in Mexico stuff these days. No complaints here.

In canada only the white and pink have the black hardware
My boys out at Wolf Music Company in Texas hooked me up…they got a first run of the Olympic white, held it for me and it shipped yesterday…super excited, and can’t wait to see it age too 🙌🏽

I am getting the pink starcaster and yellow strat.

Can't wait to get one. But going to hold off to make sure it doesn't have the same quality control issues the strat had. Mine was lucky fine but some of those strats were bad. I hope to get pink. I was going between pink or gold and the black neckplate pushed me to pink.

My only ‘complaint’ if you could even call it that, is that I want a custom shop version. I’ll buy the production model, but I would love a silly CS model and would pay what most would call too much for it haha.

Stoked for these to come out! Planning on getting a pink one since I built a white affinity one with Luke's neck. For the neck screw, I put masking tape around the screw threads and put it in my drill, then spun it and just held sandpaper there until the head was small enough. Anytime I posted my solution for this on Reddit, it always got downvoted haha.

Are you guys gonna keep your Starcasters pristine or do you plan to draw on them / put stickers on them?
If I end up getting a few of them I’d love to draw/sticker one but there’s something about a clean pristine guitar that just looks amazing!

I love Tom, and blink… but this thing just looks like if a 7 year old tried to draw a 335. Or like that car we all tried to draw when we were kids. All fucked looking 😂. But I hope this guitar brings lots of people joy, I can’t hate.

The only thing I’ve seen that I guess I don’t like, is that on some of these the neck/headstock is super dark almost look like a full rosewood neck haha. That said… I’m getting the pink one!!

Can you clarify, if you have seen the colors in person, which is CLOSER - the olympic white to Tom's blinkcaster OR the shell pink to Tom's stickercaster?
Olympic white IMO
Well both are different shaded then Tom’s. The Olympic white is identical to the first white guitar Tom had in his initial four

I went with Shell Pink. I like that it's not light as traditional shell pink but not quite as vibrant as bubblegum or hot pink but somewhere in between. Some of the complaints so far make no sense to me. There's no way in hell Fender is releasing a signature guitar with other logos and custom artwork. That's a lot of work involved and there's potentially paying the original artist a license fee. Who cares if it's not 100% the same as Tom's down to the minute detail? The right pickup, configuration, and body shape are what matter the most as far as accuracy goes and they nailed it.

@Gear182 makes sense, honestly. It would probably take Gibson time to hand make all of them in the custom shop. And the neck is most important for feel anyway
