Congrats Dr. and Pastor! I don't think I've ever commented on your videos before because I usually watch them on a big screen TV. You're videos are excellent and you communicate well. The two Lutheran pastors I watch on CZcams are you and an ELDONA pastor who posts as Ask The Pastor. I know there are differences, but I like both. As long as I can learn about confessional Lutheranism, I am happy. I tend to appreciate confessional Lutheranism the most, but I also watch Reformed videos ... the late Dr. R. C, Sproul, Dr. James White, and Dr, Joel Beeke especially. Of course, I like a lot of things about Eastern Orthodoxy, but alas, its Western Orthodoxy, a.k.a. confessional Lutheranism, that makes the most sense. John Wesley and even Charles G. Finney get honorable mentions, as I read them in my youth, but the Book of Concord is what really warms my heart. May God bless you!
Congrats! I was wondering if you could do a video on Ph.D vs Th.D, and why someone would choose one over the other. I’d like to become a professor at a seminary one day but I’m not sure which would be better.
Congratulations! And huge thank you from your videos and podcasts. Your teaching about "unio fidei formalis" is marvellous! This matter is so misread here in Finland, and being a confessional lutheran it is under a constant debating against Mannermaa.

Was mostly kidding, but I think it would've been cool. Probably depends on the program whether it's allowed or not but there are definitely public phd defenses.
He could of just read the bible and believed it. All you PhD theologians can never just trust the bible. I made this comment several hours ago. I've repented and have asked for forgiveness. I was out of line. I'm sorry. Congrats on the PhD.
