You know the saying, "If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail"? On the negative side, that means you shouldn't use the wrong tool for the job.
I prefer to look at it the opposite way. I look at my tools and ask, "What CAN it do that it might not be designed to do?"
That's how I came up with the thinking for today's tutorial.
I've been thinking a lot about short-form videos. The problem with editing them and putting in subtitles is that it can get pretty tedious to do in video editing software. So, I thought, "What if I could do it with Pro7?".
So, today, I'm gonna show you how to do just that AND how to reformat a widescreen video so that it's a vertical one.

Question, the Pastor thought I might like to do this but I never even thought about this. How hard is this? I'm 62 and only been to this church since April of 2024. I want to be of service but think I'd like to be with congregation longer . With this, I would be in the back by myself.

Is it still laggy in the recorded video?

It depends on the computer. If you crop it ahead of time, then I bet it wouldn't be. It's the resizing that Pro7 doesn't like.
