I am a long term watch collector. Sometimes people with less experience talk more , i have seen people having patek phillpe and still talk casually . I personally have rados,tissot,citizens ,seikos etc . Starter watches seiko,orient,citizen next level tissot then real watch world opens

Movement kum bezel ku enna sambandham? Movement is a mechanism that drives the watch. It can be kinetic, solar, automatic, manual winding etc. Rolex is an exaggerated, brand which lacks innovation. Waiting list for Rolex came only after the pandemic due to a gap in demand and supply. Different types of watches are only open heart, moon phase and mechanical ah - there are so many - diver watches for diving, pilot watches, panda chronograph, reverse panda, gmt watches, integrated bracelets like Cartier, Tissot prx and ag, dress watches with sector dial, small seconds and so on. Real watch enthusiasts never look at Rado or Rolex. Leather bands are always formal for me but sometimes steel can be used for dress watches. Silicone straps, paracord straps and fabric straps are strictly Casuals but dials or watch faces also decide a watch occasion. Chronograph with same colored hands can be used for formal occasions whereas less complicated watch faces with neat dials can make a great dress watch
