Its pretty fitting for the early stage of the Vietnam war, where the US only had advisors (equivalent of NATO spec ops now in ukraine), the south vietnamese (ukrainians) mainly fighting the vietcong (LPR & DPR militias and volunteers/draftees) who were complimented by the north vietnamese regular army (russian career military in this case).
The only question is when the last helo leaves a burning Saigon (Kiev) evacuating the last of the foreign troops & rich guys (Zelensky )shortly before the NVA invades in full force and the city falls...

Russian lawmakers on Tuesday passed a bill that bans individuals labeled as ‘foreign agents’ from seeking any political office in the country, according to a press release issued by the Federation Council, the upper chamber of Russia’s parliament.
