As someone that consumes artist content on social media, let me say that I follow because I like your style and content. I think I speak for many that we love seeing the process. We don’t expect polished pieces every time.
Post that sketch you’re proud of! Share some thumbnails and leverage your fan base for feedback. And, yes, treat it as a visual journal. Your journal isn’t full of only finished pieces why should your social media be?
