- THINGS GOT PRETTY INTENSE, AND ALMOST BAD FOR ME ON THIS ROAD... THAT TURNED OUT NOT TO BE A ROAD?
On this day, I headed up the mountain road from Lebak towards SNA (Senator Ninoy Aquino). Reaching Barangay Salangsang, I was met by a wonderful community, that was full of coffee! Yes, this area of Sultan Kudarat Provincd is really famous for its coffee production. I super enjoyed spending time with the community and drinking their local brew! From there, I made my way up to Tres Andanas Falls! This powerfall waterfall seemingly comes out of nowhere... it is big, beautiful, and very refreshing! Although, I ended up seeing it during rainy season... so the water wasn't clear and majestic like I have seen in photos.

The "yellow road" on Google Maps... simply doesn't exist. It shouldn't be a road. I battled for hours and hours and hours...
And luckily made it out to SNA!
Lebak has a beautiful coffee community.... and very difficult road!

I think Kulas toured the majority of the Philippines more than any average Filipino. Its really nice to see the beauty of the Philippines, its people its place especially in the provinces not frequented by large crowds of people.

There is a Calinog Town in Iloilo. Maybe the New Calinog comes from the Ilonggos who migrated there.

This is the type of riding I want to do there.. Except on a KTM 390 or KTM 890. ..Or one of the Honda 300 dual sport models. 😁.. Very good job getting through it for our entertainment too. 👍

I think New Calinog comes from Calinog Municipality in Iloilo. So the people there are mostly Ilonggo. Their language is Karay a. The same as in Calinog, Iloilo.
