    Thanks Maggie! Love the video.
I like when you said ask for help especially to help speed up completion of project. This was my fear when I started a year ago. I still feel that way sometimes.
And yes! I would love tutorial videos.

Thank You for the video, it's very insightful. YES, I for one want more videos in Data Science. I know it needs time to make them but please do so. The EDA video helped me alot with the key words and explanation are clear and prompts one to explore more. This is something you don't get in many videos on YT.
For the idea suggestion I would like to see how I can scrap data for a company I would like to work for and do EDA maybe even come up with models and some recommendations .
    Thank you once again

I quit my job as a biology research assistant to pursue data science. It’s super scary going at it alone because nobody is going to help you and you have to structure your learning journey yourself…the scariest part is wondering if this career change is going to work because the odds are mostly against you because most of us don’t have a related degree and employers care so much about that.
I regret majoring in Biology and envy people who made a smart choice majoring in data science/statistics 😢
Feel hopeless sometimes ….32 and haven’t accomplished anything significant yet 😢

Who did you reach out to get your internship at the hospital (Since you mentioned you cold emailed a lot of people)? Thank you for this video Maggie! This was very insightful!

You can usually find a list of PI (principal investigator) researchers on the directory. Go through their research areas and see what aligns with your interests. reach out directly to see if you can help on anything! ☺️

This video is so insightful for me, considering the fact that we have the same undergrad experience in terms of courses, I did my undergrad in Human Geography (Urban Futures: The Political Economy of Population and Scarcity, Economic Geography, Sustainable Development, and Food Systems) and I also did Organisational Psychology (Organizational Behaviour, Employment Relations, Organisational Effectiveness, and Career Psychology) and I am currently pursuing my Honours in Health Systems Science with an elective in health data analytics and I am also completing my Data Science certification with ALX Africa. I always try applying for level-entry jobs in data science but I am often rejected, I think maybe it is because of my undergrad studies. Can you please advise me on how to email different tech companies and ask for a job or an internship for experience, I am based in South Africa. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE VIDEO

Having a data science portfolio showcasing my technical capabilities was how I got my foot in the door! I think this is so important for those who don’t come from data science or computer science backgrounds! In terms of cold emailing, you’d have to customize a bit each time but ultimately it is a numbers game. Maybe you email 100 people and only 2 says ‘yes’ but those are the only two that matters. Keep going you got this 🙌
