Witajcie!
Zapraszam dziś do odcinka o motocyklach z literą "M" na baku.
Dzisiejszym bohaterem programu jest Matchless G11 z 1959 roku. Te "angliiki" są znacznie mniej popularne w Polsce niż BSA, czy Triumph, ale historia tej marki oraz jakość wykonania ich motocykli jest imponująca.

Very nice to see another classic British Motorcycle. It's a shame there are no English subtitles, but still good to watch - and hear 🙂. I was not aware of that vertical in-line twin, the Silver Arrow, similar layout to a Sunbeam S7 (or S8, with its 'balloon' tyres) that I think you have featured on here? My brother had one.
The Silver Arrow looks to have a small radiator at the front (like my Velocette LE had) and yet it looks a little like it is air-cooled with the fins. I seem to recall those rear dampers on Matchless and AJS were called 'jampots' back then. Your machine seems to run very nicely and makes me wish I was back on an old 2-wheeler, with kickstart, manual advance/retard (handy when approaching hills?), etc. You obviously enjoy riding these old bikes. I wish our UK roads were still so quiet! You need eyes everywhere now, being so busy. Thank you for showing!
