😄😍 Someone a few years ago anonymously paid for me to go to an abortion recovery retreat. The women running the retreat kept pushing me to emotionally open up. I was a new believer carrying soooo much anger and pain but I thought being a Christian was you needed to be perfect and emotionally in control 🙃 They kept pushing and I snapped I mean REALLY snapped screaming the truth of all the things I had done that were wrong and shameful (and it was a long list). I was sure they would send me home after screaming all the awful things I had done (that included a lot of cursing) instead their eyes were full of love and heartfelt tears and they said how proud of me they were!!! I was totally stunned and overwhelmed by God’s love working through these women who didn’t reject me but loved me despite my tremendous sin. Come to find out these “perfect” ladies had lived lives that were complicated, sinful and painful. Writing this right now thinking about how transformative it was to experience love from others in my “ugly” shame and rage filled emotions. He redeems and restores. Praise Him 🙌🏽🌷 The women from that retreat are my friends now and the work God is doing through them in our community is sooo powerful.
So many people think Christian’s think we are better than everyone else, the truth is, as you know now, we know we aren’t better than them, we know the ugly sins that our precious Savior saved us from and it changes us into a life of peace and joy We want them to know this beautiful forgiveness too! @@carolinekinney2364 You are so right! I grew up believing Christians were the judgmental bad people. I was blown away to experience the gracious love of Christian women of all ages and back grounds. Turned my world upside down in all the right ways. He’s amazing and so good. 🙌🏽✝️🌷
Wow spiritual people say it's all love and light to feel God They're are level I feel myself God assist us to move up The 1st is to feel safe which for me Has been the most painful thing I've ever experienced and still is this made me smile In the low level to trust in someone you can't see is hard but the soul knows God is love ❤
We don’t think of our Father God having a sense of humor but I know He does. He created us in His image. Yes He is Holy, He is love and He is peace and joy beyond what we can think or imagine. His smile, I melt at the thought of His smile and laughter. ❤❤❤
I can get very emotional when the Holy Spirit speaks to me 🙏❤️
