Modern Contemporary Skirt Edit From H&M

- Hello my lovely viewers, Yvonne here from Style it Forward. Earlier in the year, I posted a video about spring/summer 2024 fashion trends, and one of the trends I mentioned was skirts, not just any skirts but circle skirts, midi skirts, box pleat and utilitarian, something that gave the skirt a contemporary twist. How nice to see skirts making a comeback, Yvonne. I liked all of them. On me, however, because I am longer from thigh to knee than I am from knee to ankle, I always need to shorten skirts to just below the knee so I look in proportion. Does anyone else have this problem?? But, happily , it wouldn't be difficult to take these up. You always manage to pick the classiest items from the collections. . My favourite woud be the beige circular skirt with the cargo pockets. My favourite on you was the black box-pleated skirt teamed with the black and ecru striped top. I wasn't too interested in the beginning as I'm not a skirt wearer, but I do like the last two you showed us. However, the mash up made all the difference. You put some great tops and accessories with the skirts that really made me consider forgotten things in my wardrobe. The mash up, to me, is a genius idea. I hope you continue to do it as it's so helpful.

I would love to see these on different figures. This lady is gorgeous with the most beautiful figure so would look great in a bin bag. She does have lovely taste though. As a taller woman although I’m slim if I wear a skirt with a lot of material I feel like I am taking up too much space in the room and I can’t visualise what things look like unless I’ve seen them on someone with a similar figure. Wouldn’t it be great if she could get some friends in to model for her. 😊

My favourite skirt was the navy broderie anglais, mainly as I am only 5ft and slightly wider on my hips and thighs which means the other skirts would not fall in the same way as they do on you. However, I did really love the circular cargo skirt, but I couldn't see it on me . As usual very classy choices.❤
