Guitar Cover - Hina by David Lee Roth ft. Steve Vai

Such a unique song the way Steve Vai incorporates the delay as part of the rhythm guitar part. I always wanted to do a cover of this but I would always get stuck trying to figure out what to do during the solo section. There's multiple guitars and It's just so strange

And the whole thing definitely reminded me of how Eddie and he made such busy rhythm parts and still held it down. Think “Yankee Rose” - such awesome stuff throughout the song, no need for dedicated guitar solo

Thanks Evan!!! Yea Steve Vai is a one of a kind! and I agree I think his best stuff is when he's with a songwriter. Before DLR he was in a band called Alcatrazz. Some of the worst music you'll ever hear but I listen to it just because his parts are so great
