- The Alcon PanOptix® IOL is “The Next-Generation Trifocal” lens designed to provide you with clear vision for near, intermediate, and far distances, with the possibility of reducing your dependency on glasses after cataract surgery. If you have cataracts, talk to your eye care professional about next-generation trifocal lenses to see if they are right for you.
I was so fortunate to have an eye doctor who recommended these lenses. I now have perfectly clear vision at all ranges.
How much clear ? , can you see you mobile text ?
@@sangamidalkante Absolutely, and I don't have it enlarged, either. I do not need any glasses. My main concern was to read music on my music stand which was considered "mid" distance. From what I read and the advice I was given, the other options for either near only or far only vision did not help with mid vision. Now that I have these lenses I can easily read even the smallest print on ingredients listed on bottles, and have no problems reading street sign names while driving, and everything in between. Just let your doctor know how you mostly use your eyes and see what they think. For me, it was well worth the extra cost.
@@Maris-W Actually i have done my cataract panoptix surgery in one eye ,
It looks big difference in vision of both eyes,
Another eye is perfect & one is artificial.
I m just 23 years old .
@@sangamidalkante So glad it worked out well for you.
@simpleperfect1109 I'm sorry to hear some of your vision is cloudy. So far I haven't had any problems and my vision is working near, far, and in between. I can only hope it stays that way. I wish you the best.
I had it implanted in my right eye one and a half years back and I am more than satisfied.
Of course it's not perfect, but it's excellent....
It's a good lens but not perfect. Most users have issues with dim lighting, driving at night and some loss of contrast and sharpness. The sharpest and best contrast distance vision in all light conditions is still the monofocal lens. Readers are needed for small print but intermediate vision is good too. It's not a simple choice in picking a lens you'll be happy with for the rest of your life.
Did not talk much on night vision ,like driving at night ..seeing traffic light at night ,strret lamp at night etc...
