Thank you, Jenna. I expected you to end this video by saying, "Should you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section below." Is it "the comment section" or "the comments section"? Uh, variable nouns! I told you they were not my strong suit! And would you mind making an elaborate video or even a series about conditionals, especially mixed conditional, and the difference between the 2nd and 3rd conditionals. I always mix them up because, you know, a different past is a hypothetical situation in some sense!
Good one! I should have ended the video like that! About comment/commens section, we would say "in the comments below" or "in the comment section below." Usually the noun stays singular when it acts as an adjective...but not always! There are always exceptions to every "rule." I will put conditionals on my list of upcoming video topics. TBH, conditionals are tricky because native speakers make mistakes in them all the time, and sometimes it's hard to define what is hypothetical and what isn't. Anyway, I will do my best ;) Thanks for the suggestion!
1. Should you need help with the application, let someone know. 2. Should covid cases rise again, new mask mandates may be put in place. 3. Should gas prices hit record high, local citizens will become frustrated. Thank you so much !! For the new lesson ma'am. This is very helpful.

Should it rain tomorrow, we won’t go to the zoo. Should Covid cases rise, the city will introduce new rules. Should you need help, we will be happy to assist you. 😀😀
Y ou explained it very well with the examples replacing "if" and "when" by "should" now it is very clear to me because before, this kind of sentence starting with "should" was confusing for me, by the way instead of "should" can we use "would" and "could", also can we use "should" with the second and third conditional ? 1. Should you need help with the application, let someone know. 2. Should Covid cases rise again, new mask mandates may be put in place. 3. Should gas prices hit record highs, local citizens will become frustrated.
Correct sentences! I need to double check the rules, but as far as I know, you cannot use this in second and third conditionals, and you cannot use "would" or "could" in this way. That makes sense to me because this meaning and use of "should" is totally unrelated to the modal verb "should." I will make a series of videos about conditionals another time and will let you know more about this then.
There is a question in my mind Q1 can we use inversion in subordinate clauses. Original sentence:- 1) This is the time when my bike is there . "Inversion" in subordinate clause like this:- This is the time when "there" is my bike. Q1) in Inverted Sentence :- Is "THERE" word still adverb of place in this sentence
Great examples, Ali! Note that we don't say "the" midnight. Here's the correct sentence: If I practice until midnight, I will buy myself a classy present.

Mam, please make a video on 3rd conditional with should
I've never heard this. Thank you.
It's quite common. I'm glad you learned something new! :)
Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Wow!😊
I'm learning. Is this sentence right. "Should any member be found stealing, one needs to be suspended".
Yes, but "any member" and the pronoun "one" don't really match. We should say "Should any member be found stealing, he or she needs to be suspended."
@@LearnAcademicEnglish thank you so much for helping me🙏🙏🙏

Great example, Ibrahim! I love it! Make this change to the second clause: "subscribe to Learn Academic English." :)

There is a question in my mind
Q1 can we use inversion in subordinate clauses.
Original sentence:-
1) This is the time when my bike is there .
"Inversion" in subordinate clause like this:-
This is the time when "there" is my bike.
Q1) in Inverted Sentence :-
Is "THERE" word still adverb of place in this sentence
Good question! You cannot make the last sentence. However, you can say this:
This is the time when there are more people…
If I practice till the midnight, I will buy myself a classy present.
Should I practice till the midnight, I will buy myself a classy present.
Great examples, Ali! Note that we don't say "the" midnight. Here's the correct sentence:
If I practice until midnight, I will buy myself a classy present.
