In the real world the humans would never tell anyone and use it to their own advantage.
Agreed, and like the real world, there would be no such thing as politicians who are also good people.
exactly… I was in the Strategic Air Command as an enlisted man during the Cold War.. NO chance in Hell that human forces would disclose that advantage to alien, potential enemy forces, no chance at all.
In SAC security was absolute and not open to debate. It would be our best chance to guard against a stealth covert attack, and a safeguard against any effort to subvert our ability to defend ourselves.
WHY tell our enemies their stealth was useless against us???

Fun fact: The entire rainbow of radiation observable to the human eye only makes up a tiny portion of the electromagnetic spectrum - about 0.0035 percent.
So its very likely aliens would not know what spectrums to hide from us.
