Cotton-Eyed Joe - 2024 Ignoramus Project #23

Throughout 2024 I’m trying to learn every tune in Wayne Erbsen’s book, Clawhammer Banjo for the Complete Ignoramus.
#23 of 30 is Cotton-Eyed Joe.
This one dates back to before the 1860s and has its roots in some of America’s most troubled times. There are countless versions of it, with and without lyrics, but it’s always a popular fiddle tune.
Edit: Apparently, I turned the mic down so this recording is lower than the rest. Oops.

Thanks for pointing out the volume issue. Other recordings sound right, so I guess I turned the mic down. I need to watch that.
