The seven player game was some pretty entertaining chaos! That said, you should probably do prox chat if the option is available. Having group-wide comms means that saboteurs are always on the back foot because it's incredibly easy to suss out when they're lying about going places.

@@dizzypro4974 And as we all know, viewers definitely care more about audio quality than ANYTHING ELSE... Just ignore the fact that there isn't a single complaint of audio when it comes to amongus, or phasmophobia, or lethal company, project winter, (w/e that sailor, glacier one is called), or the many other deduction games I have forgetting, where they have used the in game proxy chat...
In all seriousness, I personally don't mind either way, but it's just an objectively out touch and bad take on lewis's part. No one cares that their voice's sound a bit different from each other if it's necessary/ideal for the gameplay.

I really think you should play with prox chat. It makes for much more debates and it's a lot more fun to watch. Plus the saboteurs can’t communicate without prox chat

Using proximity chat adds a level of suspicion, would help the saboteurs. Duncan was called out to everyone, not just the folks at the locale.

17:25 Rythian's logic is SO bad right there. He happens to be right, sure, but that was really just a 50-50.
The reason is simple and exactly what he said, thinking it was ridiculous:
"So I was sitting here, waiting waiting waiting with just Nilesy and hoping that a 3rd person will show up."
YES!!!!! OBVIOUSLY! If you don't wait and hit the totem, then Nilesy knows for a fact it's you. If someone shows up, you hit it and it's a 50-50. If no one shows up, the you just don't hit it.
But then again, that was a bad move by Osie, since that 50-50 just means she either gets shot or voted out (if Rythian is the one shot)
Rythian is right though, in the sense that the _best_ strategy is to trigger a totem somewhere without any witnesses (unless this is noticed super early, you will almost always get away with it), and if that's not an option then you try to do it in the most crowded place possible to reduce the chances of being blamed. So waiting for a third person to show up is indeed a terrible strategy, only marginally better than doing it with one other person in a location, meaning his defense - poorly articulated as he may be, once again the most suspicious innocent in the whole round lmao - is solid and true. Of course, maybe there's already a 'top tier' meta strategy where this is invalid, but from a standard point of view of the game and similar social deduction games, that strategy is bad and calling it into question is a good defense. Which is why bluffs and double-bluffs are so fun - knowingly do something stupid, and defend yourself by saying 'this is way too stupid for me to do!' hahahaha
New players don't know the optimal strategy. So go for the obvious suspect.

Great vid! Adding 7-8 players definitely upped the chaos factor and that can be seen with this group lol. Watching everyone craft gear for themselves and then complain about no food was pretty funny.

you need to use prox duncan wouldn't have been called out like that. that why the game has prox chat otherwise you platy like this and you knwo where everyone is at any time and know everything that happens making it impossible for the bad guys to do anything unnoticed

I understand that in game voice chat is of poor quality, but it makes it so much less interesting to watch when you don't play the game as intended. It clearly drives engagement though lol
I feel like they need to have a rule that the dead are at least muted, and for the game, they perhaps need to make the dead invisible. This game has potential, but with the amount of chatter and visual clues, it feels like it's too weighted towards the good guys to win.
The abrupt way these games end is like a gen Z tiktok video.

7:35 I think that's probably wrong, by Rythian. Spending day 1 (and maybe even day 2) just getting everyone fully equipped (and tanking the event(s)) seems like a decent choice. It hurts you early, but then you can do quite a bit better on the following days.
I think everyone expected this turn of events from YogAirlines. It's a Yogscast guarantee that you'll crash into a desert island.

Would it kill these indie developers to just make their own original models? Rather than just using the same model pack as a dozen other games on steam, or just use a free model pack with a different aesthetic!!!
I can't get invested in a game, or video, when I'm constantly reminded of other games cuz they are all using the *exact* same model. RPGmaker games have more variety at this point.

Didn't even like the first episode of this - it's a fricking card game! I liked the first class passenger and office killer Among Us games a LOT better as stuff is HAPPENING there and I'm not watching 7 people sitting at a fireplace for 20 minutes. BORING! ☹️
